@fire: I's not that simple. It may sound like a convenient plot device, but remember that the wild cores have their own personality and wills. If they clash with the user, no matter the adapter, chances are the merge fails and the user dies. Because an adapter cannot subjugate a core, only ease the synchronization between the two. Those who can merge without the core are those with abnormally high sync with each other. Ofcourse the effectiveness is far less than that of those with adapters,

I don't really approve of the whole M as a mentor to Gaim thing. Dunno why but just rubs me the wrong way.

Okay, more ideas:

When a group of scientist discovers Helheim Forest and the lockseeds, a study was conducted and it proved that the lockseeds can be weaponized. The world's gov'ts became interested and assembled a multinational organization called, you guessed it, Yggdrasil. It initiated a weapons project that, as some scientists speculated, can match an IS in combat, but it should be at the hands of a highly skillful user. It was called the Armored Rider Project.

Then Phantom Task became interested too and wants to grab a piece of that technology. And it was a start of a long war between the two organizations.

Hmm... Not see it, Megaman Zero does have a high compability to IS. Must do a crossover!

And do you plan for a classic "Stole the Transformation Device", but then die because of it.

The more I see it, the more I fond of Zangetsu... Long time to see some Rider like he again!

Not really stealing the device, more like ALWAYS TRYING to steal, but so far failed.

I already formed a rough draft of an intro chapter in my mind. It will be like: the MC (Gaim) travels to Tokyo (or Zawame, or a city near ISA) to attend high school, with a little flashback of his life. Then after his 1st day, he stumbled upon a scientist involved in the lockseeds project being chased down by a PT operative in an IS. Then the MC attempted to help but was trashed. The said scientist gives the MC the sengoku driver and the Orange LS and boom, 1st henshin.

@fireminer: doubt I ever will. But Ichika finds out exactly how deep-seated the dissatisfaction is for those who can use wildcores. He realizes the level of darkness he carries inside himself is of a similar scale to those he fights. He has to come to terms with what separates him and them. He also encounters a corehunter who became satisfied with his life and the fate that awaits adapters that find happiness.

I also imagined MMZ xover. Ciel would be a scientist that rivals Tabane. She dreams of the designs of X and Zero right after the events of MMZ4 as a parallel dimension. Essentially the two great reploid ancients are reincarnated in the world of IS. Ciel herself doesn't understand how she built them and the mechanisms on which they work. But she knows they are most likely the most advanced technology on Earth. The governments want proof of such and ship them off to ISA.

A scene I would have loved involved Mythos Armor Zero doing to Akatsubaki what Vergil did to Lucifer in DMC3. Only Zero cuts off Akatsubaki to pieces and not Houki's head.

In short, Ichika is a monster in human flesh now. It's amazing that for a kid show like Kamen Rider, the Hero and the Monster always come from the same source.

Yes, they come from the same ilk and their powers are and should be equal. That's why the reason they are called kamen rider isn't because of a designation. It's a name given by the people they protect.

I don't quite comprehend. You could probably fix it in execution but I don't see why Tabane would want to reveal such information. Well I suppose it's her nephew but she has little love even for family.

Hmm... Demino is right, Zero. Tabane won't do that - although who know years would do to a person.

Also, we have seen all kind of Ichika, but not this type: Ghost Ichika.

usually to dump stress and relax, but it can be anything of use. Oneshots are flexible, don't require much world bulding, plot thread yadda yadda.

People THINK glasses girls are boring, the rest have a fetish for them SOLELY because for it and their geekdom. Yeah, I think that's stupid too, but that's entertainment for you. This is less prevalent in down to earth/more realistic series though, where stereotypical character don't exist (much).
