So I wrote the first chapter, made a Fanfiction account, then got slapped in the face. "Short 2 day waiting period" to upload stories? Short my arse.

That being said, the next chapter will be the only canonical bend, the botched ambush on Squad 7 and the following pursuit, into the meeting of that Unit with 29-4... and the conflict... :3

Just read your story. Sounds like someone has read a few wartime novels. That's good; makes our fanfics that much more realistic.

When you upload it to fanfiction.net, though, rate it M. Definitely.

Oh, and it was good. Very good.

haha...decide against the game's censoring of gore?..well I agree with Runty about you read a few novels, the description is very realistic and well done. I'll definitely be looking forward to any new chapters.

It's uploaded to the Valkyria Chronicles fanfiction now, under the M rated section. :/

I've decided to go ahead and fully embrace the shipping. After all, what else am I supposed to do with that aspect of Isara? Make her a nun? (BOoooring.)

It hasn't shown up yet, but it apparently takes a few minutes, which I don't have to wait, so no linkie yet.

And blast me with any hating you might have, I thrive on it.

I've deviated from my original course of action. It seemed a bit... forced. This seems a bit more natural, if a bit more along the lines of "the stars align just like this". But in the end, isn't that what all stories are about?

You know, working on my Lone Wulf fanfic has given me time to think up a few new ideas for another fanfic someone could write. I might end up writing this idea myself, but I wouldn't be starting it until AFTER Lone Wulf is done.

In further news, the story is definitely deviating heavily. I timed some events a little differently, but the outcome is going to be drastically different. Just what, though, will be... written soon. :3

I'll be updating at least one short blurb every three days. Send a huge KICK IN ARSE PM if I don't.

And as for the Code Geass thing, unfortunately it is my regret to say that I've not enough familiarity with it to give an opinion. Sorry. :/

I'm right now watching a Band of Brothers marathon on the History Channel, and it is a real inspirational source for people who want to write good war stories. One episode in particular, Episode 6: Bastogne, gave me a good fanfic idea.

The idea for this story is highly inspired by a soldier in WWII, Eugene Roe (1921-1998). He was a medic, and Band of Brothers showed he went through some real s*** in the war (well, who doesn't?).

Actually you won't believe how many books is published around Easy Company. I have two myself, but also ran across three more authored by different people in the company. So yea they are pretty famous to be sure.

I might end up writing this idea myself, but I wouldn't be starting it until AFTER Lone Wulf is done. Spoiler for My idea: Anyone here think of a Valkyria Chronicles/Code Geass crossover? No, Knightmare Frames wouldn't exist in Europa, nor would Lelouch or Spin-zaku. The character I would cross over into VC would be our dear White Witch, C.C. She would end up meeting with a character (OC or from the game) and granting them a Geass ability, so that he/she would be able to fight back the Empire. Of course, the Empire, along with having Selvaria, would have its own Geass users. I hesitate to write this one because I don't believe I could do CG justice. That series has INCREDIBLY sharp writing and characterization, such that I don't think I could compare to it.

This version would have to have to exclude Fina's "twins", with other medics in the squad being different people. Heck, besides the scene at the start of Chapter 15, she would only appear if one of your soldiers got downed and rescued.
