Flim 4 (Studio Ghibli)

As most of you probably know, Film 4 is free now. And they're having a Studio Ghibli season.

Tue 15th Aug 16:45 - Nausicaa and the Valley of The Wind

Thu 17th Aug 17:10 - The Castle Of Cagliostro

I heard about this. I can't wait.

I've only seen Spirited Away and Princess Mononoke so this is a real treat.

And you know, this is why I love Channel 4 productions so much. They know what is good! Channel 4 originally gave me my first genuine experience of anime.

I see this as just the start from Film 4. I can seriously foresee future events of old and new classics coming to such a channel. Someone high up is a fan, I know it!

Imagine channel 4 getting licenses, oh the possibilities…

I've heard Johnathan Ross is a big fan too. In fact, I believe he once had Hayo Miyazaki on one of his shows (I can't remember if it was Film 2003 or Tonight With Johnathan Ross).

Channel 4 having licenses sounds good and there may be a possibility.

For some reason, Grave of the Fireflies keeps being missed from the lists I've seen.

Sun 13th Aug 2:05am & Tue 15th Aug 12:45am.
