well, now there's something I don't quite get yet

so what really happened in the Mai vs. Amagiri fight? did Amber send some insight into the future to Amagiri with that boiled egg, or did Amber stop time when Amagiri is being burned alive and then kick them back in time with that egg? or something? what exactly did Amber (and that boiled egg) have done?

2. Amber reverts time.
3. Amber's price and turns smaller than ever
4. Repeat scene, this time, Amagiri knows what is going to happen, though for some reason, the female doesn't.
5. Amagiri dies, again. Female makes it.

Egg: That's Amagiri's price. Amber took one to eat it...

For that egg, I think they can't bring anything with them when teleporting? So I figure that's Amber's egg and she put the egg in Amagiri's hand, maybe that egg has something to do with Amagiri retaining memories of the future?

Amagiri didn't have egg, Amber reverts time and he suddenly felt weight in his hand and saw egg, then call back Amber's words at the appartment and associate them alltogether with strange situation. He was the one who knows how Amber's power really works (ep. 16), maybe Brita don't know so she didn't notice anything.

After time reversed, Amagiri saw the egg. He realizes it was the egg Amber had.

Amber put it there as a "hi! I've been here" type of greeting.

Why Mai and later Amagiri wasn't glowing blue when they used their powers near Jupiter Ring? o_O But second later when Brita used her teleportation power she WAS glowing blue.

Well, maybe if contractor is activating power, he's glowing blue (Hei with Nick ep. 12, Hei with Amber ep. 16, 22) and when he uses it, he's pupils glowing red. Maybe it isn't necessary to do this two things in the same time.

Jack Simon is the name of Nov for a diploma identity, there's no proof it is his real name

And I think no girl will use Havoc as her name, this should be a symbol of her destructive power, which is given by the police.

The possibility of Hei and Bai as real names is very very low~~~~

Yin will also be there, as Hei's kid sister. Maybe Pai, too. This nice family will be completed by a blue eyed, black furred cat that seem to understand everything you tell him.

I'm pretty sure he isn't 'dead'. It's just the super computer either stopped linking to him or being in the gate somehow prevented him from maintaining connection. Once they reestablish the connection, he can probably move around again in some animal, which is why he said he will see them again.

It's not like his mind was in the computer in the first place.

It was in the cat. The computer was there to compensate for the fact that a cat brain isn't up to the task of supporting a human mind. So, when he lost the computer, he found himself stranded in a brain several sizes too small. We can't be entirely sure what happened to his mind, but there's a good chance it died. Then again, maybe it just went to sleep.

The reason he said something about a cat that looked like him is, I think, on the off chance his body, or rather, his body's original owner, would remember Hei and Yin, and come back to them, well - be friendly to it. For old times' sake. It's sentimental and out of character, but hey, he was dying.

Because if he thought he'd be able to revive in the cat, he wouldn't need to say anything beforehand. He'd just have to appear and say "Hi, it's been a while. How are you?".

that kind of makes sense but I don't think Mao would suggest that the wild cat would become friendly with Hei and Yin someday. IMO he was suggesting he might return.

But remember before that he says he doesn't like hard or solid cat food. If he wants to mean he will be himself again in sometime of future, the talking of cat food has no use. I think he simply means that "I'll be gone soon. If next time you meet this cat, treat him (it?) well even if he (it) is me no more." In my opinion, it is just a way to bid farewell.

Mao told them they like soft food means next time they encounter a cat like him, they should feed it soft food instead of hard food. that doesn't imply anything about he's alive. If he thinks he'll be back alive, there's no need to tell them now about how to feed a cat like him
