There is a Shuffle! manga... actually two of them (one is the story line, the other are little storylets contributed by other artists) and a series of novels ... all in progress.
And all in Japanese. You can order them by searching for Shuffle! at www.amazon.co.jp or other fine export shops. I'd say the chances of a season two is just about zero for now. The energies of Navel are focused on their upcoming series called Soul Link. It may be that we'll see an OVA or something for Shuffle! this summer. Reaction to Shuffle! in Japan from the target audience appears to be mixed.... Everyone was very excited about the set up, premise, and character design... but the climax and final arc of the series was kind of muffed by poor writing. One of these days, these production teams will learn to put their best talent at the front AND the back of a series.

Shuffle manga?
Ok Ive tried searching this online via google and other resources but can't really come up with a definate answer. Is there a manga, if there was in Japan obvioulsy, for Shuffle? If so how many volumes is it and how does it vary from the game and the anime. If there isn't manga is there some kind of novel for it? I know ive heard snidbits about some form of print for Shuffle but just cant really get any solid information on it, any help would greatly be appreciated.

It would be nice... but so far there's been no sign of interest. Your first clue will probably be if the anime gets licensed, it might follow suit later.
Someone *was* scanlating the main story line series but dropped it after just two chapters due to all the reasons projects usually get dropped. Also be aware there are two manga series ... one (Days In The Bloom) is the storyline, the other is a collection of short stories as drawn by guest artists... I actually like that one better. There are also a series of light novels (also untranslated at present).

Just look for them at the animesuki link pages for groups:
http://animesuki.com/group.php/374.html = KazeNoKoeSubs They've been pretty quiet lately on the anime release front.

Well, if you really must know, Rin did just confess to one of the girls in the chapter included in the June issue of Comptiq, but it's...
Spoiler for who it isn't:
