What does that have to do with anything? What if the kidnappers had guns?

Edit: Okay, guns in Japan seem farfetched now that I think about it. Still, you wouldn't rush in without calling the police just in case something goes horribly wrong. That guy almost managed to brain Taichi and is still on the loose because of this.

They could try calling the police, but I doubt they'd get very far. The only evidence they have about a supposed kidnapping is some telepathic calls for help.

They did call the police but when they were running they still didnt find the place yet. It is hinted the police came with the sirens when the gang were talking to setouchi.

#14-17 Final

Heartseed playing his usual weird games.
Lots of ups and downs in their relationships.
The amount of drama they went through was just high.
Seems like Nagase was the one with most issues.
I guess it was necessary to make them more resilient and stronger.
Final episode was especially interesting with the whole kidnapping thing.
After that things kinda settled like they were supposed to.
All they've been through connected them with an unbreakable bond.

I don't get how the guy that hit taichi with the pipe got away. I know they all got caught in the end.

But come on, he was limping like an old man when he clubbed taichi. The rest of the gang would have murdered him, even if he still had the thing in his hand.

The "gang" was probably more worried about getting "Taichi" to medical help.
Great series! Hope the get a 2nd season or at least a couple of OVA.

Words cannot express how happy I am that Taichi picked Inaban in the end. I was sooooooooooooooooooooooooo pumped when he asked her out. Overall I liked these last few episodes, it made the anime much better than before

Now that i think about it, i think the anime changed how the "emotion transmission" worked. They were suppose to also feel the emotions of the one transmitting it too not just hearing their thoughts. Not sure if they ignored that part or they just can't animate that.

Iori was okay in the beginning, but her drama was going on wayyy too long. And dereban is great. Throughout the arc too, while Iori was having her drama. Inaban kept getting 'maiden in love' faces and reactions throughout the whole thing. The bully girl was okay. Even though she was a jerk, she served her role well. Her style change is kind of anonymous lol. She just looks like a generic character now. Looks to much like Inaban. The bunch of thugs were dumb. Why do these guys keep escalating situations from trashing something to kidnapping to murder attempt to assault in under 30minutes. __________________ ...
