I certainly liked the new OP!

Something odd I just thought of....with the guitar riffs in the long version OP2...I somehow want to see a HTT cover of this song.

Oh, Shimono Hiro is there.

Too random in the 2nd half. Guessed the OP worked better as a stand alone.

Actually, 2chs reception of Hyadains PV is not very positive, with people saying that they stopped listening after five seconds, and some people claim that Hyadains stupid videos "are the reason why Nichijou isn't selling".

I sort of agree, not a fan of Hyadains vids, I remember the first time I saw the vid for the first opening, I couldn't even watch it all the way through, they're just too wacky, in a bad way.

Also, I'm so happy youtube has so many of the scenes up, I've watched some of them dozens of times now, someone even put the epic Yuuko vs Mio fight up.

YouTube begs to differ.

I've been looping it but not watching...the music is fine, I don't care about the visuals in this case.

Probablly why I'd like to see a K-On concert version of this instead.

I'm not sure if a bad OP or a PV would affect sales all that much. Sure many famous anime have iconic OPs, and having a song make it to the top of the Oricon charts would give a series more exposure, but I don't think it'll make much of a difference in the bigger picture.

Wow really? IS my sense of humour just off? I found it to be the most hilarious thing I've seen in months, and personally one of the best PV's I've ever seen. How can people not like seeing someone who's having so much fun doing what he's doing.

Japanese's sense of humour is the one that got off lately...

I would be really surprised if the reason why Nichijou don't sell well in Japan is because of the OP only since Jap care all about the story, gag and fanservice(which is none)

Just re-watched Eps. 16 and for the life of me I still can't understand why the convenience store clerk laughed at Yuuko. Did I miss something?

Also, when Mio catches her Manga pages in the air, I find it cool she does that while counting them in perfect English.

I think Yuuko read out something unnecessarily long and the clerk found it funny. Sort of the opposite of the coffee shop skit.

The PV was deleted. Here it is again.

In this case Hyadain himself uploads his PV's to youtube, so it's the creator himself giving the thumbs up to post his work around. Kudos to him.

Watched ep 16 at last, and wow, this series is realy on the rise ,isn't it?

I was wondering if the coffee front counter girl was set to be a foreigner (blond+blue eyes). Either way, i really enjoy her screen time with Sakurai-sensei before, and certainly enjoy her battle against Yuuko for ordering coffee this episode (It's small. It's bitter!!! ). Then we have Mio showed her totally badass, beating up everyone cold in styles (also thank to detail KyoANi animation). Finally, Yuuko's assault on Shinonome household could not be funnier, while Sakamoto's segment is hilarious....

PS: Geeez.... it's just the third episode since they met ,and Yuuko has already started gulping down Nano's body fluid.....
*run away*
