Here's the full new cast list:

Hakaze Kusaribe: Miyuki Sawashiro
Samon Kusaribe: Rikiya Koyama
Evangeline Yamamoto: Nana Mizuki
Junichirou Hoshimura: Hirofumi Nojima
Natsumura Kusaribe: Junichi Suwabe
Tetsuma Kusaribe: Hiroyuki Yoshino

Edit:

Zetsuen no Tempest site update: http://www.zetsuen.net/

- The show will start on Oct 4
- The OP is called "Spirit Inspiration"
- The ED is called "happy endings" (this almost certainly confirms Hanazawa is Aika)

New PV with the OP theme and more animation (including ACTION!): http://www.zetsuen.net/special.html

Sawashiro is acting as Hakaze...?
This is a even bigger mismatch.

ED will be sung by Kana Hanazawa, OP by Nothing's Carved in Stone

Looks good for a BONES series.

Maybe it'll be a BD/DVD release only.

The fastest that the new title can start the better imo. Wasn't really watching Ao anyways.

The episode 1 credits were published in this month's mags.

Ep1 - The Magician is in the barrel

Script: Mari Okada
Episode Director: Takefumi Anzai
Storyboard: Masahiro Ando
Animation Director: Souichirou Sako

I'm kinda surprised Ando isn't directing the first episode himself. Kanno isn't the animation director either. Hmmm...

Also, here's a magazine spread:

Gotta say that my lack of faith in this does not even have to do with Okada or the director, but the fact that every anime BONES has made since FMA brotherhood has either been lackluster or just flat out bad. Eureka 7 Ao was the last time I give them my faith with no questions ask.

I really wish this period for BONES would end, but damn they have just been pretty bad these last couple years.

Tempest here looks like it could be decent, but like I said I have no reason to have faith in them.

The manga is pretty... bad.. or I should say.. have problem with its storytelling, if anyone want to put that into consideration.

Will probably be the best selling thing Bones have done since FMA due to that fujoshi factor, they saw how DEEN were getting dem 10ks and wanted some of that. lol if this does 20k like gintama, tiger & bunny and kuroko.

I don't think so. This really isn't a Fujoshi thing. It really wants to be in the visuals and stuff, but the manga isn't popular, and it has low appeal because nothing happens at all, and is more annoying than it is entertaining.

I'll be very, very surprised if this is anywhere as successful as Star Driver or Darker than BLACK S2.

I'm...surprised so many have bad opinions of the manga. It was above average in my book, at least.

Wait for 99% of people in this thread to start dropping the show like in the Horizon subforum if it turns out the anime doesn't deviate from the manga

I wish....

You think up to which volume the anime is going to follow?
Hopefully it can go up to the point that Hanamura appears. But my gut instinct is telling me that is wishful thinking.

Seconded.
I really find this to be Shirodaira's best work so far, it felt like Spiral without many of its flaws.
The reader's trap is also much mroe fleuent this time by making them more up front. Vampire Cross World also served as a good buffer, making the leap in plot later on feel much less blatant.

Also, why people are still under the delusion this is a fujoshi thing?

Up to which volume?

It's 12 eps right?

Maybe the introductory clash at Fuji / Jukai if we are lucky...

It's the artwork...anything that is shoujou-ish is auto fujoshi material in the eyes of the discerning crowd

Also, anything that takes long to build and is generally focused more on plots without anything exciting generally won't be well received by the same sophisticated crowd no matter how good it is

Opinion to the manga is pretty subjective matter.. but there is ground to saying there is problem with its storytelling. Particularly its might make a issue for the anime too.

For example there is this part where if the anime follow it faithfully its can last 4-6 of episode, the problem is

Spoiler for just to be safe, don't open if you don't want this info.:

That gonna be a problem if the staff don't make any adjustment to it for standard anime structure.

Don't get me wrong though, I still want to watch this. Because the chara design is so damn pretty and Ando involvement as director.

Considering BONES do not favor make traditional sequel, I think they will go for original ending.
They already pick the "great" Mari Okada for a reason.

Do you mean the confrontation with Samon?

That actually is one part I find rather exciting, how both sides use threats and misconceptions against each other. Shirodaira has always been an writer that portray the battles in words and logic instead of actions. The long dialogue will only be a problem if this is an action based show, which this show is not.
