i don't deserve the first post, but here i go. Epic. I felt that the deaths happened to fast and that appearance was REALLY random. Animation was solid all the way around from my broken perspective. In fact, everything happened too fast. but from what i hear they need to do all that to keep up. I'm not a manga reader but i just don't see where theres 3 more episodes of content. I kept my post very vague because I know I get curious too and read what i shouldn't before i watch. |

Another mindblowing episode. Another awesome use of the BG music (too bad they shortened the Battle Scherzo theme).
Also. THAT FREAKIN BIG DAMN VILLAIN ( not talking about Bradley) Is there's something Ed can't do?

Wrath...
How... So... Epic... how... You got your arms blown off, so you wield your sword with your teeth!!! ... ... ... What just happened... Something epic happened... Oh yeah... he stabbed a guy with his teeth! Pretty awesome last words too. "I chose that woman, there is no need for last words between her and me. That is what it means to the wife of a king." What the... How can a villain be so... inspiring... It's not right!

If only these last few eps had some action...
I'm very glad it was Hoenheim that was responsible for bringing Father down to a realistically beatable level, and not his sons. His centuries-in-the-making counter-plot was the only realistic way to make that happen. And damn, is Scar isn't GAR incarnate - what an arc his character has had. He's really shone as we near the finish line.

Maybe ED will show some appreciation to his dad next sunday.. it is Father's Day after all and his dad is pretty kick ass. Since Ed STILL blame him for leaving them behind years ago but he did it for a perfectly good reason, so his family can survive.

Can someone count how many new BGM were used in this episode? I'm becoming addict to them. lol
After an entire day of FUCK YEAH'ing so hard, I've just noticed. Why HE of every person, saved Ed's ass? revenge on Pride? don't think so.

This episode did great justice in adapting to one of my favorite characters (Bradley and Kimblee) last moments. Great music placement for both of them.
Shame the start of the episode was a little messy, though that's because they didn't show Father's boss form at the end of last weeks episode. Here we see it right at the start, and seconds after the counterattack begins not leaving enough time to be effected by it. Ah well.

I'm glad that I never read the manga because I'm thoroughly enjoying the run of these final episodes, it's just leaving me speechless. Hohenheim's plan dealt Father due justice and Wrath's final breath was just amazing. I really wish I had more to say but this episode left me craving for more.
3 episodes left and I'm hoping to see everything wrapped up nicely, this is definitely worth becoming a classic series in my book.

Awesome, this was a great episode! Wrath grabbing the blade with his mouth, totally bad ass.
I am a little confused about what Scar did though. Did he unseal alchemy or remove a limiter that Father had placed or something?

God, I thought Greed wants revenge, but I was wrong (I was anxiously expecting that to me but damn...).
Scar finally put him to and end. It's over to me. It's over for Bradley's Family. Talk is cheap huh, Selim? Only 3 episodes to go. THE END IS NEAR! BTW hold on a sec, did you guys noticed that the Opening sequence had finally removed this week episode but instead they make it look like a Finale Opening? On a side note, remember when Bradley was all climbing-through-windows and giving people melons as gifts? What a change in character. If homunculi go to heaven, I hope he gives Fuu a cantaloupe as an apology for killing him. |
