Hmm, this series extremely reminds me of Destroyer novels, and here lies the problem:
I have a hard time making sense of Inferno. Modern weaponry makes the act of assasination simple, the hardest part is gathering the necessary information - having a good killer or two is not enough to change anything in the underworld's power balance. |

Just saw the two first episodes, I have to say this show is more entertaining than I though it would be. I like that dark underground vibe this show gives. Its definately something thats refreshing, since its different than other shows right now. Im here hoping for Zwei to take over inferno and become some kind of scarface and have Ein and Claudia in the palm of his hands.

I just watch the two first episodes and it wasn't bad. I liked Noir and Madlax but Cazador was very bad.... Phantom seems to be a good show at begining, but there is too much sexual stuff I think, it's a little boring...
I saw the 3 oavs, and I wanted to know more about Ein and Zwei. Phantom is slow like a lot of BEE TRAIN's show: Noir, Tsubasa, Madlax. But it's not a bad thing... Background music is good, and Opening is awesome, i love it! Karma!

Well, the animation is still strong, and like others have already pointed out, the atmosphere of the anime is very on-sync with the VN. I hope they can keep this level of storytelling up, because so far, it's been excellent =).
One thing I noticed was that Ein is... nicely endowed. Something about that pale, voluptuous figure she's got makes her pretty hot, but... Spoiler for VN:

Just seen episode 2 and it still doesn't dissapoint. I have never read anything about it or anything, so have no idea which way it will turn. I hope Ein and Zwei become a couple near the end, or at least that is what I am expecting...
Claudia seems quite a mysterious character at the moment, I am sure we will be seeing more of her soon though. |

I love how they portrayed Zwei's eyes as he went through the training. You could see him humanity dying a little at a time as he learned how to kill. Claudia's advice to Zwei was very mysterious but i understood exactly what she meant now lets see if it come true. Can Ein and Zwei grow and move forward? Inferno however is making the mistakes all organizations make when they start playing around with making super assassins or brain washing. Eventually pets turn on their owners when pushed to far and if these 2 were to ever decide to after Inferno members they would be screwed just like the targets they select for them.
Ein does seem to show some type of attachment to Zwei. I guess to have a counterpart after working alone for so long can spark some type of emotion
