Hi junglechink,

The only thing i have is this preview of Goda Gun from a french book "Manga Player".
They say it's a good shonen with detailed Graphics and lot of fun.

That's all that I can say to you so goodbye !

aaah, "Manga Player", brings back good memories. By the way it's not a book, it was a manga magazine (in which series were serialized) published between 1995 and 1999, if I'm not mistaken. What issue is this page from? I don't remember that news actually.

Hi raphaël

1/ Article found in this number.

Manga Player#31

2/ Have you ever readed this "mag" ? You are french, canadian or japanese ?

Info >> Manga Player was the first and the last mag who prepublish mangas (of Kodansha like GTIS, Gunsmith Cats, Flag Fighter, GTO...) and they stopped the mag at the 42' issue.
Today, Manga player was became Pika Editions.

Junglechink, apparently you can buy the complete (?) set on this adress http://www.mangazin.com/_view.php?goodsIdx=13014 but only if you master the japanese language.

Good luck !

I'm French. And I treasure all the Manga Player issues I kept (especially the first and the last one) but I don't have #31. I was abroad at that time and though I suscribed to it, the magazines never came.

Dear compatriot
Me, I have the complete collection #01 to #42 and I bought them all on www.priceminister.com. But now some numbers are sold out like the...#42.

Hi Mr.Minou
Shonen Magazine... ...Ah Yes ! Shônen Collection by Pika Edition and they stopped to the tenth issue.

But it's different. In France, Manga Player was delivered to "Bureaux de Tabac" (Tobacco shop for those who don't understand) while Shônen Collection was delivered in Bookshops.

It seems like if we don't get junglechick to answer soon, this thread is going to get closed.

Anyways, it's always funny to have a stinky cheese gathering in those forums.

Now the point is : Did anyone actually read Goda gun?

Not me, but it seem's to be a good shonen with decent graphics yet plot is a vulgar pretext to see a lot of fight. It's very similar to a product like Flag Fighter by Kanzaki Masaomi or Rivals Schools by Junji Ohno.
(Both of them were prepublished in Manga Player)

Bye all and sorry for my academic english !
