That is what I believe, Teresa was a good character, no doubt, but her death is what made her so legendary.

If she didnt die it would of been like that other anime devil may cry. Dante was so strong that the show was stupid.

btw Im surprised that Galatea is even close to Miria. I would of figured miria would be the more popular character.

Yep, if she didnt die, no one would be so emotional about her.

If she didn't die Claymore would end in few more volumes, so yeah her death was necessary and definitely helped her rise but she would be my favourite nonetheless. I liked Teresa from the start, she was powerful but it wasn't typical - powerful good guy (like Goku, Ichigo, Naruto, Yusuke Urameshi and ton others). Also her character development was the best what I've seen so far. Teresa's death made her my favourite anime character of all time (slightly ahead of Gutts and Wolfwood) instead favourite character in Claymore.

What amazing about it is she only lasted like 5 episodes and she had such an impact on the series. lol thats a legend right there
