From the character profile, Mao's Master likes Murrue Ramius. . A curious hermit indeed.

Edit: Next episode is going to coincide with Mikako-shi's 25th birthday. Here hoping Gundam BF related news will be unveiled this Sunday or something.

RAL SAID THAT LINE! And man they didn't even miss out the Wing's half-face shot with the Fenice, that's a real nice touch there.

Funny how at first glance at the back-view of the Gunpla Mao placed at the counter, I knew right away what it's going to be. Still, didn't quite expect that one to make an appearance.

What's even more awesome is Sei answered THAT famous question from Jamil Neate in Gundam X.

Love the episode in general. So over the top and campy it's hilarious fun

Bonus points for the Murrue Ramius narrated ep preview and the (short) battle with A damaged Victory Gundam (which is basically how it always looks)

well, i think like that too, i have fun building it but dont give a shit after i've built it, most of my gunplas are either missing, broken, or full of dust

You know, we're 5 episodes in to the series and I don't think I've seen anyone actually watching a Gundam anime. Did the gunpla battle tournament make anime unnecessary as a commercial for the gunpla? Or maybe I missed a scene.

God I loved this episode

- Ramba Ral quote/reference right at the start, WIN
- God and Shining gundam!
- Sooooo picking up Hitchhikers can net you a well built Kshatriya? Our world sucks
- OMG picking up girls with Gunpla, words cannot describe how priceless that scene was
- XD Fellini's Italian just made everything so much funnier
- Wing Gundam Fenice FTW
- Beam shields confirmed from Victory's perfomance
- .......The new builder is pretty odd...but his character references are win

- Half expected some Gundam or Gurren Lagann quotes/speech when Maou pointed up to the heavens/moon lol

- Funny how Sei was piloting at first then switched to Reiji

- Good, Yuuki's out, the Red Comet is best saved for later in the World Championship
- Whats going on with Yuuki's is the main pull right now for the story imo


Also a though occurred to me, Reiji better stop practicing against Fellini, at this rate they're gonna have an extremely hard time against him in the World Champ since he knows how Reiji pilots/operates. And from the current state of things Fellini still seems to have the edge (well might have to factor in the Build Strike's performance by the World Championship)

Also since Yuuki dropped out that means Sazaki is next in line to fight our protagonists, he better have some significant upgrades up his sleeve if he is to stand a chance at winning

So does anyone know what exactly that new beam rifle Sei made is supposed to be? I think I've seen it from somewhere. Also to note, courtesy of the nice folks at /m/:

The new rifle is just an improved mod to increase firepower

When Sei's MS miraculously survived being hit by Mao's satellite cannon and said he wasn't the pilot, I was half expecting it to be Kira Yamato/it's great to know they kept Strike's plot armour...

Umm, the title of the first episode? The last line of dialogue of said episode?

Jamil: "Tsuki wa deteiru ka?"(Has the moon come out?)

Sei: "tsuki wa deteiru!" (The moon has come out!)

The last episodes title of X was "The moon will always be there" btw...

I mentioned this in my post. Notice who is doing the narration... Kotono Mitsuishi, same person who did the narration for Gundam Seed (Sei usually does it).
