The war has definitely started.
Surprised Takeshi still worries about Gekkou.
That kid is such a two-faced guy.

So Gekkou finally decided to show his true colors.

Takeshi is too soft and Gekkou's merciless. So Violet is part of Camelot? Does this mean both Pendragon and Camelot have allied with the Trailers? Wizard Brace needs to consolidate their forces with their allies if they want to win. I really hope Takeshi and Kurumi end as a pair. Mui seems a little young.

So in Gekkou's eyes, everything is Takeshi's fault, even made up reasons. Although, the only real thing that Takeshi did against Gekkou was the shove into the oncoming car, which is actually a really good reason to be pissed off for, even if he did not have control over himself.

I wonder if Kurumi was able to switch herself with Takeshi this episode somehow? If she did, then Gekkou actually took Takeshi with him instead of Kurumi, which will be quite a surprise for Gekkou. Gekkou will go full Shin Asuka mode if that happens, and become one of the 4 most hated male anime characters that just don't go away (Shin Asuka, Noumi Seiji, and Hayase Kouichi).

Aren't both Takeshi and Kurumi currently 16 yo, Gekkou 15 yo and Mui same age as Takeshi, 16 yo if not older if we use her brother as a comparison who looks to be in his 20's? If Mui was too young, her brother would have had a problem with Takeshi.

I'm glad that I marathoned this series from ep 7-9 in one day
the change is just too fast
since Momo-tan's fight, I think I slowly try to forget why I keep on hating this series at several early episodes

Ep 6 showed the true battle of magician (not talking about how they retrieve Tsuganashi.... but Momo-tan's battle is so badass... and that fanservice.. oh gawd!)
well, I still can't accept the fact that Takeshi and Kurumi building their own harem though.. hahaha
I still hate that red-haired Ghost Trailer and won't let him together with Kurumi

Ep 7 showed Eterna-tan....
I can't help but laugh since Eterna is my character name in several online games... I love her character... and a little of Mui's fanservice won't be bad... Tsuganashi's sis-con is also enjoying to watch

Ep 8.... the truth hurts! honestly, I believe Takeshi should just build his own guild... Both of guildies are messed up.... and also, Takeshi's mom is beautiful... (I think it's safe to say that Kazuma's friend is Takeshi and Gekkou's father)

Ep 9... from start to the end... everything is so tense... I love the moment when Kurumi kissed Takeshi in front of Gekkou... and Gekkou hit Kurumi... damn! Kurumi is so awesome
Episode filled with rage and hate.... and Gekkou is getting crazier and crazier

to be honest, until this point, I think I can't decide who's the heroine anymore.... Kurumi already outshine Mui in recent episode. Mui still clueless and childish when Kurumi's character already matured. Kurumi is more enjoyable to watch currently

for Gekkou, don't dare to touch Kurumi (and Eterna-chan)... leave them alone and let them wait for Takeshi

And I myself just watched Ep 9. With how plain and how much Takeshi can't decide... I'm actually watching it as a prelude to an ero-doujin. It makes me root for Gekkou, that way. I'm probably more than a little twisted, at this point, but I have to say that watching how the little piece of shit acts is just much more entertaining than watching the typical, standard, cliched, and plain MC Takeshi.

Also, material transportation? Really? God, if this was JoJo, he's pretty much unbeatable with those. He would only need to hide himself and teleport stones to their heart or glasses to their arteries. He's about as unbeatable as Risotto's Metallica, which was only beaten by a combination of loltimeskip, lolprediction, and stupid Narancia (read: two broken by JoJo's standard power, luck, and a stupid character). Might be one of the main reason why I'm rooting for him, though I hope he actually properly utilize it. He's still having a D- in my book for his stupid way of using his power.

It had a lot of bad writting yes, but the episode doesn't forget to put a lot of appropriately creepy and good moments as well. It was great that Takeshi re-meets his mother but the development is way too little to redeem something. Mui is still a nice girl but given her bond with the protagonist, I would rather have Kurumi ending up with him since she's the most developped of the two main heroines the series have offered. Didn't I also forget that Ena looks like Kurumi at first and then I realized what Kurumi is doing at the end when she wakes up as bodyswapping Takeshi. The parts I enjoy the least however is the training scenes, they are way too rushed. Besides, I am glad that the war is happening in this series although I knew the story wouldn't go far as with most LN adaptations these days, I like that the show is doing a different approach of some of its clichés but it doesn't mean the show overall was good. We'll see how it ends but I don't want a stupid ending out of nowhere.

Your opinions are both REALLY depressing and REALLY hard to disagree with. I'm a lover of good triumphs evil and the MC gets the girl in the end, but you're right. Gekkou is entertaining.

Maybe he'll get better at using his power.

It'll most likely end the same way the Light novel ended volume 6.

Which could be sort of a stupid ending, all things considered. The pacing of this show is just too hard to keep up with. Somethings happen too fast and some things get too much focus. I really like the overall premise. I like the generally setting, and I like the general character portrayals, but this adaptation makes everything so bland.

I wouldn't call it bodyswapping. She took his appearance as a protective mechanism so that Gekkou wouldn't try to rape her. If anything with that appearance Gekkou would prob want to murder her instead. She should have picked another male person to copy.

I'm thinking of a stupid ending being put out of nowhere. Still, Kurumi is going to need help from Takao Oigami and Hotaru Kumagai, so she could escape without being caught by Gekkou.

On the other hand, it seems that I know what happened to Kazumi's sister Futaba. Watching being taken custody by the Investigation Bureau means that they might do nasty things to her, and I don't want that to happen!
