Okay, the last episode was actually scary there and tbh, a little anti-climatic, but other than that?

I quite enjoyed this show a lot and I'd definitely catch a second season. I would be seriously shocked if this didn't get greenlight for a second season already considering how popular it is, thanks to Hestia.


Ryu however was my favorite character. I was so glad to see her unscathed pretty much.

I enjoyed the series alot but I doubt we'll see a second season. It was fun, it looked like the animators, writers and VAs were all having fun, especially the last few episodes

I think what made this anime adaptation work is that they were able to keep up the level of fun throughout, and it never went to places that would make you roll your eyes like in other similar works.

Hm was expecting one of those shield guys to yell out "anchor howl". Overall I found this one enjoyable for the most part. Also I just realized how much hestia reminds me of himenokouji akiko.

Heh, it's kind of odd not seeing Hestia lying down But my gosh, Lili needs to go shopping! Replace that battle damaged top, buy new stockings, and for the love of Freya buckle up It's not safe for her to leave her belt like that, what if I trip, I fall, I reach out to grab the nearest thing that happens to be her skirt to soften my fall, and then her skit comes sliding off

Overall, this was a fun series. It was my Saturday mornings, along with some food wars and Nisekoi There wasn't a time where I felt like a scene was dragging, and the characters were so enjoyable, good characters can really make a series shine, and the cast, that ED cast right at the tree, that's a group to remember

I too would happily welcome a second season, for now I'll have to satiate my desires with the manga

I give this series an 8/10

It wasn't a bomb, lol. Just take a look at the rankings for the LNs. As an advertisement for the LN, Danmachi's anime was a smashing success. Even so, 5k is no flop, considering there are worse sales for this season.

If Bell's the King of God's grandkid... he technically have the authority to transfer Lili into Hestia Familia. LOL

Tho... I wonder if ep 13 is the "end end" or will there be another season? (I don't read LN, so no idea about material usage)

Also, Guess this is Bell's "plot armor" in this series...
Cause Bell is the only one here that can use "God power" without being restricted like the other Gods are.

But yea Bell's plot armor can get annoying, the story really finds it's stride later on though. around volume 6 and 7.

Fanfare is skewed toward a single character, which is a drawback in this type of show.

There's no way of knowing what Warner expects from this run (they depend on DVD/BD sales), but let's hope it's doing well enough to justify a sequel.

Eh, an anime adaptation can still be a bomb regardless of how much the original work was boosted by. Especially for show like Danmachi that clearly had a higher than normal budget compared to other shows. That said... yeah LNs sales will carry the real weight on whether this gets a a 2nd season or not. So even if the anime doesn't too hot there is still a chance.

Yes they can, it requires both gods to be present and to agree to do the ceremony.
However, since someone member of a family usually knows a lot of really important secrets (like the specific skills/magic/abilities of other members, and so on) a family doesn't easily agree to give one member to another god, so this usually require heavy to extremely heavy compensation (usually money).If you were asking for Lili, IIRC the money that is asked to her by the Family leader to be allowed to leave (and not the god) is 10,000,000.

I was disappointed by the final episode, but I think that's mainly because the minotaur battle was the finest animated battle scene I've come across this year. I was expecting something even better, so my expectations were set unnaturally high. For that, I can forgive and overlook it just this once.

Overall, Danmachi was a good show. I mean, if I'm still here despite not having one hint about childhood friend couples, I'd say it did it's job well.

I don't mind Bell's character too much, yeah he's kinda effeminate...but he's still much MUCH more tolerable than some other young male MCs...like Renton from Eureka 7 and Shinji from Evangelion...
