And no, the geass does not dissapear if the caster dies. Lulu was surprised the Nana managed to break Charles` geass by sheer willpower Also, if you listen reall well, when Lulu transfers memories to Nana, you can hear the trademark geass sound ....but Orga777 STILL thinks Lulu is dead |

Forgot to mention - the theory only works if Lelouch has the immortality code - would getting carried around like that be too much of a leap of thought processes? After all, He is known throughtout the world as an evil tyrant. And after they got to a safe spot, CC could drop out all the body parts, and they'd reassemble and we'd have Lulu alive again. CluClu alive again. Muhahaha - |

I was very surprised that Lelouch decided to die in the end... but it wa a beautiful death, and really the ultimate sacrifice for world peace. I would have liked to see an epilogue for Nunnally, though. I just hope that she was able to move on.
Anyway, though I was sad, I thought the ending was just about as poetic as an anime ending can get. And as for people talking to Lelouch in the epilogue... they're talking to him like he's in heaven watching. It happens all the time, like when people talk to gravestones. And Orange working on an orange plantation with Anya, lmao. Didn't see that one coming... And Suzaku is now Zero... destined to forever wear a mask in place of Lelouch. It's somehow fitting. Now no one can ever know that Suzaku is Zero, or else everything that they worked for will backfire and dissolve.

He died specifically to make the world a better place by making himself the focus of all hatred and fear. When Suzaku killed him, it was also like he was killing the world's hatred as well. That's one of the things that I thought made the ending so damn beautiful.

Honestly if not for their probable time/episode constraints i think r2 could've been alot better, the pacing was interesting in that it provided several WTF! moments throughout an episode
But had it been given 10 more episodes or so, or hell even just split the last 6-7 eps into a seperate season, it could've been something beautiful, or well rather more so than it already is All Hail~ |
