Character design-wise, I'm leaning toward Kazuki at this stage.

...and no, the fact that she looks somewhat similar to Sugu has nothing to do with it.

Just watched the last PV. Action, action everywhere. And I'm loving it.
Nice design, interesting plot, set in the not to far future with maybe some sci-fi element. And lot of action. When I think I almost missed it on the fall anime charts.
That + Coppelion + a lot of other anime make it feel like this Fall will be really great.

No surprise at all. Gin no Saji 2 would be 11 eps 99% and making Samurai Flamenco 23 eps is strange. Not to mention it's common for NoitaminA to have 11/22 eps.

According to /a/nons, Umetsu officially said that the show will not have sex scenes, but do contain fanservice. See Adachi's interview below:

The absence of sex scene is not a probleme for me. And I'm not againts fan service but please not too much pantyshot.

Don't get your hopes much, maybe the first episode of Galilei Donna will still impress since you were still looking forward to it until now. Though I can imagine the sex scenes being implied, be it happening or not.

Watch Umetsu's previous works Kite and Mezzo Forte preferably the director's cut.

Mezzo and Kite were OVA series, not tv shows. In fact, the tv version of Mezzo had no sex scenes at all.

Considering this is a Noitamina show, it's ridiculous to expect sex scenes imo. Even fanservice will probably kept to a minimum.

No, I don't really take it as a minus though.
I'm still looking forward to it a lot, and expect it to be one of my favourite anime of the season regardless.

But as a man, (and a pervert) it's just impossible for me to entirely suppress my libido.

Naturally the sex scenes were never a possibility those are limited to Umetsu hentai OVAs anyway. However, we can still look forward to bath/shower scenes with the Ferrari sisters...I guess.

Spoiler for Episode 1 spoilers: It's hard to tell exactly what they're trying to tell with the story, though it always mantains a certain pace (though some extended shots in the beginning just slow things down despite being action). The three main characters haven't interacted that much between themselves so it remains to be seen how it'll go. I'd rather have them NOT using Italian in the way they did since it ends up with some awkward phrasing ("Cannone Automatico", while technically Italian, doesn't sound too good with a machine gun, which has a completely different translation). It also doesn't sound that well if it's taken in the context of "archaic" sounding Italian.
