Hmm, just watched 14. Too bad they didn't do Maria's scene like in the manga.

Spoiler:

In the manga, Maria hugged Hayate from behind in a comforting way. It is way better than her just touching his face in the anime. This scene reminds me of that edited scene where Hinagiku shouted for help in the anime instead of shouting for Hayate in the manga.

i think both versions has it's plus points...of you look at it from another direction direct skin contact may be more appealing to hayate (though it isnt as obvious as the hug from maria)

well anyway i just was glad they did that scene and did not cut out the significance of it in both versions, they still made Hayate shout for "Maria's sake"

well well hayate's first day at school and already he is attacked on all 4 corners O.O while the pace of the ep seems fairly melo with introductions bla bla it is near the end where we see a lot more substance...Hinagiku takes hayate and nagi to the kendo dojo where she trains and there fellow friends of Hinagiku begins to get jealous at the intimacy between hayate and Hinagiku (as you can probably guess they all secretly fancy her ^.^) ~ in the end hayate is challanged by another guy to a kendo match but after seeing hayate's skills decides to call forth his own butler...yet another combat butler (who looks like gin from bleach )

Hina or Maria if he ends up with Nagi it would be just wrong simply put the way Hayate acts around the people her age (Nagi, Isumi, Watarou) he looks for friendship so i just can't see him do it because he would have to do a complete 180 on what he thinks and feels

Who knows..It might be Nagi after all it WAS the original couple in authors head... I wouldnt mind Nagi, though Hina is just as good. Just no Maria.

frankly this typr of series, the way the main character think I bet there is a higher possiblity that nobody ends up together and we have seen it before in many different series example (Maburaho)

I wouldnt honestly mind it being hina either, but I have a feeling if he ends up with any of the girls it'd be nagi whether I like it or not.
