I really like Megumi's real voice compared to her acted Ranka Lee voice. Her Ranka voice is perfect for the character but I would love to see her voice some characters using her normal voice, the one we hear on the Macross radio shows.

Sorry to tell you, but she can't talk in either. Admitted it herself in that entry.

Mamegu? That's quite an amusing nickname. Not a bad one too.

Must've been the mother contributing some inputs. Anyone got a translation? (EDIT - I could do the Tagalog portion: basically she's thankful to the regular blog visitors and she promises to do her best to cheer everyone up.)

That's better. Now if someone could hit me in the back as it was my imagination.

Everything in parenthesis are mine. If any of this is wrong, someone please correct.

The Tagalog portion reads:

"Good evening to all of you, thank you for following through my blog posts, I'll do my best to make everyone happy. Thank you (polite)."

(She also translates it into Japanese in her blog. Then she follows, )

"Tagalog and English are the main languages in the Philippines, buuuuut... I can't speak in either language. Hahaha. I'm hopeless. But still, I'm trying my best." (With "I'm trying my best", I suppose she knows a few words, and perhaps hears her mother speak in English sometimes. Her English isn't that bad in What 'bout My Star, unlike May'n which is quite terrible if you ask me).

She says that dried mangoes and bananas are very expensive in Japan, and in the Philippines they're very cheap.

She had her 17th birthday in the Philippines, and she had a surprisingly huge chocolate cake which is about 11 by 19 inches. She doesn't have siblings so she's happy to see her relatives.

The rest of it, she just describes the Philippines, that it's humid and people are friendly.

The mangoes in the Philippines are the best. ^_^ It's nice to see some Tagalog language in the midst of all those hiraganas and kanjis lol That was a cute entry.

I'd be more than glad to bring Megumi some Philippine-Brand Dried Mangoes.

Why settle with dried mangoes when you can have fresh fruits? Munching on the fruit, tasting its sweetness and feeling its smooth texture is such a heavenly experience.

When she asks "How do you know I was in Macross Frontier?", then go sing the Nyan Nyan song before you give here the mangoes...

And yeah, I prefer the fresh mangoes too.

Yeah. I'm going to flip if you tell me you are too! lol

The fresh mangoes from the Phil taste like honey. I'll have anything mango flavored as long as it's from there. It's such a shame the fresh mangoes don't taste like them here in Cali.

The mangoes around Melbourne are pretty decent, we even get quite a lot from the Philippines imported.

I've been wondering but have never been too sure, does she sing Sheryl's tunes as well? Er, meaning, is Sheryl's singing voice hers? Or someone else altogether? She sang this one song that had clearly listed her as the singer but the tone she adopted for it sounds more like Sheryl's singing to me. I've never had official info to back it up, though so I was always kept merely wondering.

Aya Endo provides the voice, May'n provides her singing. Lil' Megumi there is Ranka and Ranka only.

Speaking of Aya Endo, I just came back from her personal blog.

According to her most recent entry, it looks like she'll be appearing in the September issue of Animage to represent "Sheryl Nome"

Should be some interesting tidbits in this interview she'll be doing. She mentions that she'll be sharing some "interesting stories". Looks like I'll be purchasing this issue as well...*sigh*. LOL

In a past entry of hers, it confirms that she watches Macross Frontier as it airs....for last week's episode, she was anticipating that she was going to cry.....can't blame her.

Anyhow here's Aya Endo's personal Blog for anyone who is interested.
http://blog.excite.co.jp/endo-aya/

I visit there on occasion so if there is anything Macross Frontier/Sheryl related, I'll go ahead and post them here since this is the Seiyuu thread.

Until then,
