Yeah, Sebastian told them Ciel lost his memories. It seems like Lau had no idea though, I can't believe he acted so friendly toward Ciel despite what happened at the end of season 1.

I never expected to see that kind of fanservice in Kuroshitsuji, and I'm certainly not going to complain :P. Viletta Hannah is seriously hot, although Ranmao is still my favourite girl in the series (loved the outfit she wore in this episode).

Alois sure is deliciously evil. There seems to be a lot more underlying BL in S2 I'm also wondering if Ciel's going to get back his memories. It's too weird to see Lau being friendly, but that little scene with Soma and Agni was hilarious

As a few of us already worked out, Ciel dies in fact have memory loss. There's still the mystery as to why he's alive though, i mean the contract was supposed to have finished at the end of the first season, and it ended with what looked like Sebastian taking Ciel's soul. I'm sure we'll find out the truth eventually, though for now it's very confusing.

I do know that it's going to be very heavy when Ciel finds out the truth about Madame Red. I'm not looking forward to it at all.

The turn out for the fancy dress was marvelous. Ciel is just so adorable as a little pirate . The three stooges as the cast from the one and only Monkey was very . Was not expecting that at all. Though as expected, the best costume turned out to be Alois' maid trap costume.

Speaking of Alois, good god that scene with Ciel in the bedroom. Oh how for those two to be left alone for a few hours, just to see what Alois would do to him. <3333

Hannah fanservice was certainly an eye opener, very nice. I am rather interested in her character though, and would like to learn more about her at a later date.

& yes it was nice to see Agni and Soma again.

So the fight is on after that very D: cliffhanger. Though the preview shows the four back in the mansion, so i do wonder how it'll all play out. Oh and of course, i'm loving Alois costume we see.

Surprisingly, no one commented on the triplets. They turned out to be more competent than I thought they'd be, to the point I wonder if they're human. But then again, anyone seems competent compared to the Phantomhive servants

Got a good look at them this episode, (yeah kind of) and they look like Sebastian with purple hair. Of course, they still can't compare!

Although we all know this, Maylene isn't as clumsy as she appears and knowing just how elite she is troubles me. Why the facade, why?!

Alois certainly is a horrid little thing, isn't he? It's always fun to have a despicably evil character to root against, but I don't see the affection for him myself. He's a cruel little bastard and my sympathies are squarely with Ciel. And my money on Sebastian if it comes down to a real fight with Claude.

So part of the mystery apparently revealed - this is in fact reality-based. But the larger question of how we got here remains squarely unanswered.

The third Black Butler II (Kuroshitsuji II) DVD volume will ship in Japan on November 24 with the fourth television episode and a new original video anime (OVA) called "Welcome to the Phantomhive Family." The new video episode will be modeled after romance simulation games such as Angelique or Fantastic Fortune; the story will unfold from the perspective of the audience as the unseen "O-jō-sama" (Milady). The viewer is invited to a ball being held by the Phantomhive family.

Well they clarified the memory loss although the survival and why he was in a suitcase is still unclear so it's possible that Sebastian just stated memory loss to everybody else instead of something else. I wonder about Alois's motives and whether they are just straight up BL or if he wants Sebastian for something else. The purple haired triplets make me think that they might be subordinates of Claude in hell or something.

Why is Hannah putting up with this abuse? What in god's name did Alois save her from in order to get away with this?

I think Alois is after ciel to get his ring to increase his own power, i thought this right from the start because everything included ciel's ring , and now that makes me just wondering why?

Alois already had the ring at the beginning of the season, and it didn't look like it was of much use to him. So far, it looks like the ring is just a container for Ciel's soul. I think it's clear what Alois wants is Ciel himself, and yes, in that meaning as well. He's attracted to Ciel because he lived through the same hell as him.

What I want to know is why or more like how the hell did Alois get the ring in the first place? I dont think thats something Sebby would have just left around for anyone to get. Also why put his soul in a ring? As for what Shiro said about why is he alive if Sebby did take his soul, I think the simplest answer is the easiest: he's alive cuz they decided to make another season
