Most touching or exciting moments in One Piece

Well this might be cliched or down right a bite off from other threads but I thought I might take a crack at making a huge thread.

My most touching moment in One Piece was back during the Arlong arc where

whenever they show shanks.

also, after nami stabs her arm, the camera zooms out and shows the whole crew waiting to kick some ass.

Shanks when he saved Luffy's life from the shark (first episode). If I saw this episode, I probably would have tears. It's like Shanks would be to Luffy as Iruka would be to Naruto. Which they look after their disciple (Naruto & Luffy). And just like with Naruto (becoming hokage), Luffy vowed to Shanks that he'd be the king of pirates and he'd lead his super crew to the Grand Line.

A bit ahead of you there (episode 64). But seriously I was on the verge of crying on Nami's arc. It was so tragic...

- Nami's flashback scenes with Bellemere.
- Nami stabbing herself and asking Luffy for help (and him putting his hat on her head).
- The end of episode 53, where they announce their goals and dreams.
- The entire episode 65, Zoro vs. Mr. 8, Miss Monday, Mr. 9, Miss Wednesday, and the Billions.
- Carue helping Vivi out during Mr. 2's attack.
- Usopp not giving up when fighting tough opponents like Mr. 4 and Miss Merrychristmas.

The most touching One Piece-moment I had was when you had flashbacks from Choppers young days and the scene when the doctor had come up the mountain to help the sick doctors, I wept like a kid during those scenes.

In chapter 1, when Luffy and Shanks were talking about how he was gonna become King of the Pirates. Now that was really touching and emotional. And if you think about it, it's like a three way tie, Luffy, Naruto & Ash Ketchum.

Like how they start off that they vow to a person they love that they someday will reach their goal.

For me the most touching moment has probably been the flashback of Sanji when he was a child. He was starving to death and tried to steal some food from Zeff, only to discover that the pireat hadn't eat anything for days. Then Zeff said something like: "We have a lot of money but we can't afford to eat anything, funny eh?"
But even Luffy helping the old man in Alabasta to dig and search for water was pretty touching, and then tells Vivi that even if she was going to talk to the rebels the situation wouldn't change with crocodile alive, so he offers to take him out, in other words, it's one of the very few times when he really acts like a true captain, and gets the respect he deserves in the end.

The most exciting is surely is Zoro's fight against Mr1 in Alabasta arc, closely followed by the the entering of Luffy's crew in the great blue, when their boat was falling right into the big whale luffy first fired the cannon, then punched it right in the eye, and then... well he just messed up everything as always

The most touching of course was when the fake doctor go to the castle and the king sais him that it was a trap and all of the docs are fine and then the soldiers are going to shoot him but the doctor sais: "Thank god that everyone is ok"

Another touching moment is when Ging puts the gas mask in sanji and he innale the poison. I really liked that character, I hope he will appearr another time.

[SPOILER]

And one of the most exciting when Eneru shock Luffy with all of his electricity and Luffy sais "stop youre annoying" And then Nami sais: "No, you cant hurt him, cause his rubber body. So Luffy is the natural enemy of Eneru"

Doubt this is a spoiler was very early in series.

I thought it was pretty sad when the dog was protecting his house where his master used to live and it was being destroyed and couldn't do anything about it.
