Isekai One Turn Kill Neesan is getting an anime adaptation.

Plot:

The story follows Asahi Ikusaba, a high-school student who got lost and ended up in another world. He has knowledge of video games and fantasy worlds, but he is weak and does not have any "cheat abilities." He finds his older sister Mayu in the other world, and she has the strongest cheat ability and also has a brother complex.

What if "Do you love your mom and her two-hit attack?" was about a hardcore brocon instead of a MILF? That's how you basically get this show .

I guess it is the dream of every RPG and LN enthusiast to get Isekai-ed into an RPG world, complete with all the usual setting dressings and gimmicks. Although I have to wonder who would actually play "Skyrom" or "Wister 3" with those titles .

When in dire straits, Asahi calls upon his big sister Maya, whose sexy body and OP powers are only matched by her utterly obsessive love for her brother which basically defines everything she does and makes her lacking in as much common sense as her boobs are big. I guess you at least have to admire how lacking in shame she is when it comes to her love of and...desire for her brother .

So Maya is the OP one but Asahi has to maintain the illusion that it's him otherwise he gets his head lopped off. I guess this isn't going to be the kind of show where the male lead is humiliated or forgotten about, though he still has to deal with Maya's antics .

Ah yes, when a little brother wants to check his big sisters' status, that of course means he wants to feel up her boobs and learn about her measurements .

I'm guessing that Hero party is going to fail to stop the Demon King and leave Asahi and Maya as the only ones who can do it .

That was a surprisingly effective tag-team by the siblings to intimidate a rowdy drunk while still making Asahi come out the amazing hero everyone thinks he is. It's just counter-balanced by him having to let his big sis have her way with him .

The Opening is suitably a frenetic, colorful, cute, and crazy theme! Fitting for this series! And looks like Maya has a big rival in none other than Ami Koshimizu .

You know, I can get behind this one. At least a bit more than I did with the series focused on the mother angle of this. Mostly since the MC did do something good with saving that kid. Plus one of his first thoughts after almost dying was that he would miss Maya. And if you count her as a summon and effectively his weapon in that world...it kind of works. At the very least he also kind of needs the help since he's a goofball that can't help but compare the world he's in to fiction every few seconds.

I guess it depends on whether he did summon her or if it was incredibly well timed with knocking herself unconscious. But I guess it doesn't matter. Without her he'd be dead and she's still basically his weapon of mass destruction since anything he points at she should be more than happy to destroy.

Maya is kind of fun. A total lunatic who cares about nothing besides her brother. Honestly I think the flashback understated how panicked she must have been upon seeing her brother in a coma. Plus I mean wow...the level of desire she has for Asahi is no joke. There's no way Asahi is getting out of this other world adventure without something extreme happening between the siblings...

The receptionist girl was pretty cute too.

Plus I think it's fine if her exploits are attributed to him. The sister seems cool with it and in a sense it isn't wrong. He's choosing to take action and thus direct his sister's OP powers at problems. If considered like him being a General or something it more or less is true. Plus...there's not much choice. The country wouldn't actually be able to kill him with his sister there, but better to not become wanted criminals.

So presumably the Demon Lord will be the woman we see at the end there. Curious if she'll simply be a rival for Maya in terms of power...or will be one because she ends up targeting Asahi herself ?

I'm on the fence about this series but good neesan are tough to come by so I hope it ends up being solid. In for a few episodes at least.

I just hope it's not too wishy-washi. If you go with bro-con, sis-con premise either go all the way or make "normal" isekai slave harem nonsense instead. Baiting without any kind of pay off, that's just annoying.

Same thoughts. I see no value in the protag/brother. Even if he's weak af, he would need either brains or some other interesting quality for me aside from being a nice guy. And that needs to be at least hinted in episode 1 to draw me in. In short, I'm actually not interested to know what happens next. And if it were a comedy, it failed to elicit any laughter from me.

He was able to figure out a way to use Maya's powers in a way that made it look like he was doing it without exposing himself .

The trope of having the weak character fake being strong while the strong character does things in secret doesn't point the the MC being smart, it's literally the most obvious thing he could have done.

Why are they even doing it? As soon as he found out about the "fake" rank penalty he should have just brought his sister in and told them that the villagers had made a mistake and his sister had been too shy to correct them. Or just have his sister join the guild and do all their quests as a team. Then he could just let her natural over-protectiveness explain why he never gets a chance to do anything.

And for that matter why is he so completely useless? Is it supposed to be for comedy because if so the first episode failed at being funny even once.

I think there's something to be said as well about being able to fake it that well. Even if the logical choice is to secretly use his sister's powers, he still has to make it convincing as him being the one to do it. Plus it's not like she's seemingly coming up with ideas on how to covertly use her abilities so he's got to think that up on the spot, with a crowd watching.

Yeah, I'd say at that point there's no going back. Once he took that badge and accepted the rank increase it probably crossed the line of being illegal. Probably just initially avoided bringing up his sister since (presumably) she hadn't yet been registered or anything. Plus if he started to get praise it might have just been easier to not immediately bring it up. Same with the village. Might not feel necessary to tell a kid that she was wrong and interrupt all the celebration. If he knew it was illegal he wouldn't have let it get there, but it did...
