If we went by VD, Shana would be in second place after Kanade. Third and Fourth would be close between Misaka and Yuki. Fifth would be Azusa by a long ways down from Fourth. Kanade is so far ahead right now.
Until Kanade arrived, Shana has always had the most votes.

wow 3 votes, if I had actually asked some of my friends (who have voted for Shana in the past) I think I could've managed to get those 3 extra votes...oh well. Losing to Nagato is nothing bad (since she is my 2nd fav girl) im glad to see that Disappearance has finally given Nagato that boost I tried to claim last year.
So now its up to a Hina vs Shana scenario again? oh boy I should tell frustra...although in the odd chance Shana SOMEHOW pulls a miracle and win, well lets just say in the meantime I guess I'll be back for ISML 2012 now *sigh*

Funny, I recall having a conversation with RegalStar.
Now back to the necklaces, assuming Hina/63 and Shana/54. If Shana gets 20% then all Hina needs to get is 17.2% to overcome that. It's very possible for Hina to win this. I don't believe Hitagi (assuming she loses to Shana thus having similar SDO) can get close to Shana's V%. However, if somehow Shana gets more competition than she expects, let's say 18%, then Hina only needs 15.5% to overcome that, so the lower Shana's V%, the more possible it is for Hina. Remember, in Emerald 8, Hina got 13.5% with tougher competition.

Either way, it looks pretty close to me between Shana, Misaka, and Yuki. That is 3 of your top 4 girls. It's great to have it that close at the top.

What happened Shana? Strictly going by my stats, it isn't a bad performance. My stats actually called for Yuki to win by about a half percentage point more. The problem is just one round ago Shana blasted Haruhi and looked like the match with Yuki was going to just be a formality. Guess Ruby 5 was just a one time thing for Shana. If it was going to be one use, she really should have saved it for her match with Yuki. It doesn't help that Mio wasn't able to beat Hinagiku like I thought she would be able to do. Azusa was likely t show up in the necklace showdown to interfere with Mio. Hinagiku doesn't have the same handicap. C.C. underperforming and losing to Yami also hurts Shana's SDO. It's not a good situation for Shana's bid for the Ruby necklace. Outside of news relating to Shana, Fate and Kagami both looked goos in their matches with Sora and Kuroko while Taiga didn't do as I expected against Tomoyo.
If they did, that was a bad idea. Azusa is going to be in the necklace showdown to handicap Mio while Hinagiku has no such restriction.

Kud dominated the exhibition match against Etna. Just one question, how did she lose to her own country?
Yuki defeats Shana by three votes. Best result thus far. Hina defeats Mio once more. Interesting. Looks like Yui got her revenge at Victorique for what happened to her at Preliminary period. |

This would be all manners of epic. Even for someone who will never vote Shana, if this happens there can't be a better 'storyline'. Thinking about it is making Nadeshiko Japan > USA float up in my head (though I'm a bit displeased with making the comparison as Shana definitely =/= Nadeshiko Japan in my affections).

Maybe we could get Beatrice to declare ISML "Perfect-O!!!"
That would take it up even another notch. Quote:

And if JC Staff can deliver...given the material they have to work with this has the potential to be the best season of Shana too...

In post-season she will likely face Victorique (or Nadeko if she manages to win over Charlotte), then Mio or Hina, then Shana or Azusa, then Mikoto or Yuki. |

Well, there aren't exactly a large number of characters to choose from with potential to defeat Kanade. Having to bank on something as risky as a Shana Season 3 boosted Shana for opposition shows just how dominant Kanade is.
