Wolf's Rain, do you recommend it?

Saw an episode of Wolf's Rain, wasn't that impressed. But it was somewhere in the middle of the story, and I was half drunk at the time from having gone out (4am adult swim baby). Any opinions on this series (and why), and any similiar series you would compare this to?

It's certainl worth it but you need to get into the atmosphere of it all, a bit dark and depressive atmosphere that is. I'd say try a few eps, then judge, and I mean start from ep 1

I highly recomend it. It is dark and very death like. It seems like there is no home but the story line is very gripping and i guess it is depressing. I personally loved it becasue of its plot. but hey it might not be your thing.
