Gundam Reconguista in G is a new series produced under the supervision of Gundam creator Yoshiyuki Tomino. It is set in the “Rigirudo Century,” the calendar date after UC, and focuses on a mobile suit pilot named Beruri Zenamu of the Capital Guard — an organization responsible for protecting a space elevator. It will have its broadcast debut in Fall 2014.

Gundam: The Origin is a series of 4-theatrical films which will tell the story of Casval Rem Deikun (Char Aznable) and his younger sister Artesia Som Deikun (Sayla Mass) before the One-Year War. The first episode, “Aoi Hitomi no Casva,” will be released in theaters around Spring 2015.

I am sceptical when it come to Gundams and Sunrise mecha overall, but fact that fact that at least one of them is set in UC (and other under Tomino himself) might paradoxicaly make it less weary than usualy.

Apparently an Idolmaster: Cinderella Girls anime was announced at tonight's live event. Will wait for the official tweet, which should be an hour or so after the event.

Ah here it is. It's scheduled for January 2015 apparently.

Personally I'm finding it a little weird, as the Idolmaster movie used the Million Live girls instead, and Cinderella Girls is mutually exclusive with ML (aka the CG girls can't exist in the same universe with the ML girls). Hmm.

Mecha anime have really been booming lately. I'm not complaining though, since I'm a fan of the genre. That said, this one looks interesting. But I've seen so many mecha anime recently, that I'm subconsciously comparing it to others. That's not a good thing. o_o

Apparently they're making a new J9 series called Ginga Shinpuu Jinraiger... Which has a Suikoden theme. What. WHAT?

Take note, this is the same series that brought us Braiger, Baxinger, and Sasuraiger.
