Don't recall exactly in season 2, but I only really recall one episode in season 3 that had it as anything more than background noise.

This HBO we are talking about, they are gonna have sex scenes every other episode and they say anime have too much fanservice.

Actress Indira Varma has been cast in season four. Varma will play Ellaria Sand on the show, the sexually adventurous paramour of a key new character, Prince Oberyn Martell “The Red Viper” (played by Pedro Pascal).

I recently watched the entire series so far in just a few days. Great stuff, I have to say. One thing that bugged me the entire time was Varys. I was so sure that I knew his voice from somewhere else, but a quick look over the actor's ImdB page revealed nothing to me. Very strange. But I'm really looking forward to season 4. I hope Luffy comes along and painfully punches Joffrey through some bedrock like he did with Crocodile.

Not sure if it was only half or if it was a little over, but essentially. If I understand it, it also pulled in a decent number of scenes from book 4 or 5 (Theon's scenes), since in the books he basically just disappears for a while and the show didn't want you to forget him and then have to deal with a flashback.

Actually, Theon getting zipped and zapped are pretty much a show invention. But it is understandable people need to know Reek = Theon when Reek show up at Book 4.

Yes. And season 4 will adapt the other half of the thrid book.

This was done to give author George RR Martin time to finish the last two books of the series so the TV show won't catch up.

Actually, it was more because Martin split the events into non-chronological order so he could show events from one half of the world in uninterrupted sequence, and then events from the other half. Whatever you think of that decision, it would have been almost impossible to do that in the TV version.
