Yeah, because the author was serious ill to a point where continuing writing wasn't an option.
And now he is better and hopefully would release a new volume soon.

Any way, I truely enjoy reading this volume and since my favorite girl is Keena and in this volume there 2 of her, I can't find one thing what not to like in this volume.

The novel is still on-going, but the authors paced has slowed considerly down so no one knows when he'll release his next novel. If you mean the translation. JS always works on any Index thing first after that its any kamachi thing. That always takes priority. After that he'll do whatever he feels like working. Which atm looks like Horizon(?).

I just caught up on this and, wow. That was really surprisingly good. That part with Akuto fighting against the gods was incredible. The anime version was a mess, so I didn't have that high hopes.

Do you guys know if the translation is still ongoing or is js06 doing something else atm?

He's splitting his work between 3 projects, currently.

Owari no Chronicle, Kyoukai Senjou no Horizon, and Dia Maou.

Whenever a new Kazuma Kamachi novel is released that gets priority.
