Simoun: Shoubi Sensou ~ Fuuin no Remersion ~ PS2 Game Videos and Pics

The last game for today is Simoun, which should be known to anime or yuri freaks.
If you don't know what does the yuri stand for, here's the hint-> girl + girl action
The game is a combination of dating simulation (you keep talking quite a lot between fights)
and strategy game. As you can see on pics or videos, strategy part looks solid. I didin't play much further
so I don't really know if those ships will or will not upgrade the number of their weapons.
I've seen a couple of episodes of this anime though and what I can tell basing on them is
that some of the attacks seen in anime weren't present in the game at this level,
so we can assume they are going to be added later on as the game progresses.
Japanese knowledge is rather essential to enjoy this game at it's fullest.

Hey, it's the Super Robot Wars system complete with cutins.... but apparently no attack animations...... Even the games ADV sequences have less detail and animation then SRW's. Oh well I guess I shouldn't expect the quality of Banpresto's flagship franchise from a game by Marvelous Entertainment. Catchy map music though, even if it seems to be all you hear.

Who else thinks that it was a bad idea to make a strategic RPG from this series, due to the similarity in terms of design of every Simoun?

And I wanted to see a Ri Maajon... He had the chance to do it a couple of times and never pulled one...

Eh, Ri Maajons don't look as cool as I expected... they could've used a CG sequence or something instead of letting everything happen in the overview.
