Just an opinion:
This manga starts being a bit boring for me :S It was interesting, action-packed, exciting, had a lot of serious fight scene and of course we could see the development of Tsukune.. Now I don't really remember which were the last chapter when I could say, yee it was worth to wait a month for it. I hope my opinion will change soon enough (in months, with a new chapter) Just think about it: cp 27: its about idiot perv bunnies, seems to be an other filler cp, there hadn't happened anything if the author would have skipped this one. cp 26: inner moka is trying to make a cake.. huh.. character development? dont be ridiculous. yes, we could see a different side of ura-san in an other filler chapter which has nothing to do with the main storyline (the only happening is a little crack, but its not worth a whole chapter and a whole month of waiting) cp 25: yukari-chan... no comment.. (filler) cp 23-24: introducing of won family.. thats what happened in half a year. Im probably the impatient or i dunno but i think the manga changed a lot in a negative way. We couldn't see Tsukune fighting, there wasn't any serious action, and im sure there won't be in a while. Now probably you guys think bad things about me, you may want to write the these were very important chapters and thats how the author wants to bring in the new arc but first please compare these chapters with the older ones then. its only an opinion.. im not waiting for an other similar chapther but the return of seriousness and eventfullness like it used to be. and i guess i have to wait for it for a while.. maybe next year? (of course the development of characters are important but that doesn't mean it should be in non sence filler chapters where nothing happens..) Last edited by KoSa333; 2010-02-06 at 07:28. |

Well, I think I can sum up a bit of what you just mentioned into one analogy; a roller-coaster ride, complete with the ups and downs and loop to loops. Of course to see it that way, you'd have to look at the way they collected it into the volumes put out so far to really feel that.

Keep in mind one other thing: we're probably going through the character development/filler right now because when we get in the Fairy Tale arc, things are going to get pretty damned dark... so enjoy the light moments while we can

I personally like these filler chapters it gives us insight into the current mindset of the characters now. Compare them with their mindset from the first season and you can see that there is a lot of growth in terms of their strength and emotions.

Well, I can't say that I disliked the recent chapter's as well ... I see it in a similar way as you do Magin. I mean so far in Season II every major arc was (the Doppelganger arc, the Snow Women arc, Sun's arc) preceded by a few chapter's with a light atmosphere, before things got serious again ... so I think will see the same in this arc as well .... and since we got some many light chapter's, before the author might be planing something really serious to happen, so I think we should enjoy the light chapter's as they go, because soon things might go downhill from here.
Spoiler for Chapter 27:

the first season had a troll, Kyuubi, Succubus, Witch, some kind of plant monster, slug, worm thing, Cyclops, and a whole bunch of hybrid monsters, Gorgon, Lamia, Lilith Mirror, Yuuki Onna, Centipede, Mermaids, Kraken, spider woman, Warewolf, and Onimodoki.
The second season so far we had a doppelganger, dragon, Siren, a whole mess of sea creatures, Jiang shi, Phoenix, a Durian, Gremlin, vampire, and a spiderman I think.

Well if we started to talk about what type's of monster's appeared in part 1 and part 2 of R+V, I think that in Season II we should expect much more variety among the type of youkai that Tsukune and the rest of the gang face. I mean not only has Tsukune and the girls that fallow him grown stronger, but we also have to consider that Fairy Tale, which in my opinion shows signs of being the main antagonist in this series is much more bigger and stronger compared to Hokuto's Anti-thesis which was the primary antagonist in Season I.
I mean it could be even theorized that Hokuto's organization could even be a branch of Fairy Tale, since Kiria and possibly Hokuto as well have been shown in part 2 of R+V as member's of Fairy Tale and what Hokuto wanted to achieve would also make Fairy Tale closer to achieving their goal which is overthrowing the human world. So I think that we should expect more types of monster's in the future arcs, but the question is what types of ayashi from Japanese myths (which I believe is the primary source from where the youkai that live in the R+V universe come from) haven't been mentioned yet and might be appearing in the future ? |

seeing the game preview again. Outer Moka is the last girl to be shown, Weather in any media manga or anime. I guess Moka will get Tsukune in the end.

I also wouldn't look into it too much, since it doesn't mean that the same will happen in the manga ... all of the materials that are based upon the manga, can't be considered cannon, but I got to admit that at this moment Moka and Tsukune have higher chances of getting together then the rest of possible pairings, but the manga is still far from finished, so anything can happen before the end.

outer moka and inner moka are two completely different people sharing one body because, moka's father created the rosario to create a friendly moka so that she could fit in with the humans in the school wheras the silver haired one was the original and real one=basically outer is just an illusion. like when they were kids, the silver haired (inner) existed while the outer did not. outer moka cannot get angry or mad so...

On top of that, we don't really know how it created Outer Moka. One of the top theories is that Outer was created because the Rosary brought out parts of Inner's personality hidden by her pride and power. Of course, another theory would be the one presented in the anime. However, there's not enough info to make any conclusions on where or how Outer Moka came about. |

You know, thinking about the latest chapter's setting and situation, I've been kind of wondering just how dedicated the girls really are to Tsukune.
Think about this a moment, if for some reason, a good reason mind you, that Tsukune was the one who had to deal with the gremlin, and lets say that the situation deemed that the only way that anyone would survive from the plane completely breaking up(say the damage was done more quickly and severe), would be for someone to sacrifice themselves by grabbing onto and holding on to the creature and jumping out of the plane, possibly without a parachute, to prevent further damage. If Tsukune were to be the one to do that, and you know he would if it came to it, do you think any of the girls would jump out after him, even though it would mean certain death by becoming a "meat bomb" upon impact on the ground or ocean, who would be most likely to jump after him, if only to spend time with Tsukune for those last few minutes before impact? I know that's a really twisted scenario, but just how many times have we seen equally severe situations with the group that would fall in that category? Not many, but for this to be possible is quite likely. I'd say they all would go after him. Because I believe that each of them realizes that if they lived on without Tsukune, it really can't be called living, and would all be emotional train wrecks, whom would pull into themselves and probably never come back. Agree or Disagree? State why.

there is one thing to point out with that particular situation , you have kurumu and ruby who can fly so even if tsukune was to take the grimlin and jump out of the plane either kurumu or ruby would swoop down to keep him safe.
