Also, she broke nearly every bone in her body in the fight against Unzen last season, yet only had to take a few days off.

Seemed kind of rushed. I guess there wasn't really much they could add to this story, but they never gave any time for anything to sink in.

Wow, they've used 4 chapters and even 1/3 of the 5th chapter (though they skipped some info about Munakata and other bits of information) now.

Episode was pretty good but I do think the pacing will slow down a bit from this point on cause at this rate they won't need the full 12 episodes to finish the arc.

This episode was a bit rushed indeed, but I thought they did a good job condensing all these chapters into a single episode. There were no jarring cuts. I wish they had kept the City Hunter reference though.

Zenkichi is badass

No idea how good he was before the training he had with Medaka's brothers training, but you can clearly see it paying off

I just hope what the headmaster said is true, that he's an abnormal hiding behind normal skin, otherwise those wounds will take more than a few hours to heal

This should have been the pacing of the First Season, IMO. Though Munakata's "I kill because" rant feels weaker in the anime than in the manga.

That Kei was a seriously scary one.
Class 13 seems to be full of psycho killers and freaks.
Zenkichi vs Kei. Wow, that was impressive!
Who knew Zenkichi would become this powerful.

Wait, so what exactly was Munakata's abnormality? What made him "worthy" of being in the flask plan? He doesn't really have any skill with those weapons, and Maguro only taught him epic concealment skills AFTER he joined (I'm assuming), so what about him was so special? That he wanted to kill ALL THE THINGS?

He rolls the dice funny and he can open the random-password door. Ultimately, being an Abnormal is just about having fortune on your side, in a way that can't be explained by randomness. Having superpowers is merely a side effect. Not that Munakata doesn't have superpowers. He can stab people in the back in such a way that causes no harm!
