In other news, I haven't had the chance to attack that petition translation yet, I had a surprisingly busy week. X_X I WILL get to work on it Tuesday and Wednesday, since I shouldn't have anything come up those days. And once I have it done as best as I can, I'll send it to a couple friends for review, make sure it's... understandable. XD I'm mostly afraid of screwing up the particles. The rest I SHOULD be able to do, although I may end up with some uncommon vocab in need of changing, and I might screw up the polite voice some. ...We'll see, anyways.

dude they finally kiss. haha, 12 years since this series began they finally kiss. it was rather touching. al in all, this was a pretty satisfying ending to the series. but what about the anime? will that be continuing anytime soon? it's already been like 5 years since The Second Raid.

tokyopop is gonna resume publication of the fmp light novel series and the 4rth novel is planned to be released on the 26th of januari in 2011.
so either they started to care about it's fanbase or yen press light novel line has become something too watch out for on the U.S manga market.

That would be very helpful to me as well. I'd started working on it, but then I realized to fit what Japanese I DO know, I'd have to pretty much completely rewrite it, and it would probably be like caveman speak. XD I do have people I can run it by for corrections, they just don't have the time to do the full translation themselves.

I'm going to be gone for the holidays, so I might be able to get some work on it while I'm in the air, although I'll be down most of my resources so that'll be interesting. At the very least I could do rewriting and setting up of the grammar and fill it in with my missing vocab later, most likely.

I make no promises, though. There's a good chance I'll be flying with a migraine, and if that does happen, I won't get much work done.

Before you post the petition a translation into French, German, Chinese, Japanese and Korean would be hugely beneficial. The addition of those languages are definitely going to pull in a lot more signatures.
