I missed the USC game the other day but I heard people saying it was "odd" anyone know what was odd about it. Aside from Lane Kiffin.

It was odd eventually USC gave up 36 points to the Warriors of Hawaii, I had them for an upset over them but I got myself blinded over that. Still Kiffin just left after the game and never had more time to speak about his win. He's probably flabbergasted and shocked on Hawaii but I think Week 2 will be upset alert against Virginia.

HAHA, really?

Dude, I'm glad we FINALLY won a home opener in like forever and yea, that game against Hawaii was surprisingly competitive.

Still, I am not expecting any sort of upset from UVA. I'll be happy if they put up as much a fight as the Warriors did, but really I just don't want to get trashed TOO hard (We gotta go to LA)

What a game between LSU-UNC!

I was tempted to turn away in disgust at halftime and I'm glad I didn't. Such effort from a depleted squad. Man, if Yates had put that ball a little more to the outside. . . Also, even though I'm a skeptic, I will give Yates his props. He wasn't the reason UNC loss. And Jay Boyd, he played like a man tonight.

Oh, and fuck Marvin Austin for showing up in the stands. If I was there, I would have heckled that guy all day.

Lol at Ole Miss losing to Jacksonville State.

It was odd because USC did not dominate Hawai'i, yet the media is making it out to be some great victory. Hawai'i could've made that game even closer than it was or even possibly won. USC did not play up to it's hype.

And this Big 10/SEC crap really gets out of hand. The SEC is the strongest conference in the land, I agree. But they are not dominant over the Big 10. The two conferences meet a lot in the post-season and the Big 10 holds its own every year and occasionally takes a year from the SEC.

Penn State has especially held up its end of the Big 10/SEC bargain. PSU is 5-2 v.s. the SEC since joining the Big 10.

That all said, BAMA will absolutely murder us, but what can we do? We have an awful team this year and Bama doesn't. Kinda funny how Bama wussed out of the 2004-05 series with PSU because Bama knew it sucked and rescheduled for 2010-11... now Bama is outstanding and PSU is back to sucking.

Next weekend is going to be a surprising weekend of whoever upsets the best team in the land. I'm going to be calling this Saturday the "Plight of Day" means someone lives are going to be changed on that fate weekend. Look at Wk 2 games and just see what will transpire:

I went asleep but damn it was one hell of an effort by Maryland defense. It really shows that Defense wins games at it's best. I'm feeling this year is the best one yet.

Great throw by Tyrod at the end. Boykins had a terrific shot at it.

Solid opening week of CFB, an upset and some close games.

Congratulations to Boise State on going undefeated in their one game season. They now have 3 months off to prepare for the national championship game.
