You mean the resurrection end written by the disciples of the guy denied his master three times? Yeah, real believable there.
Note: scarred hole in the hands (cruxification require the hands nailed to the wood). Healing ability. Food creation. The Jesus signs are pretty clear to me earlier. |

He'd arguably be more likely to know about modern combat tactics like paratroopers if he were Jesus than if he were just some unnamed Middle Ages saint. Saints are merely humans of their era. Pious and (especially in a fantasy setting like this) "miraculously" powerful, but still ultimately mortal. Jesus is divine. A certain level of omniscience is to be expected from the Son of God.

You've got a point with followers but frankly even Jim Jones didn't have enough of a following to explain the Black King. Personally I think he is Jesus, and the recent events are trying to get us to second guess what has so far appeared to be a pretty obvious answer to his identity. If not Jesus, then Saint Peter. As an Apostle, he could perform miracles just like Jesus, and died via crucifixion as well.
