Aizen thinks to himself ''Damn it, I can't die without killing at least one character and since good guys don't die, I'll have to take one of my own. *slashes Hallibel* .... I must not forget to maintain that smile that looks like if everything is under control...''

Lek's look at the bright side, people. If Halibel joins the good guys, then she'll be invincible.

Will someone tell me when Gin and Shinji started fighting? I feel like this is crucial info which I somehow missed.

In the summary right before the scene changes to Halibel's battle it says that Aizen stops a fight between them.

Being fully literate, I am aware of that, I was inquiring as to when the fight commenced.

Probably after Tousen stopped Shinji from attacking Aizen, unfortunately it happened off panel.

so either the characters decided to do some off screen swapping or kubo is so confused by his own random bull that he forgot (or doesn't even care) who was actually fighting.

No tousen was busy with Komamura and Hisagi so it makes sense that Gin would step in if Aizen didn't want to fight.

the problem is that we then have to believe that gin made a tousen-esque move and jump in to guard aizen without being specifically ordered to.
remember the end of the SS arc when he didn't bother to stop ichigo? (and commented on it afterward)

The important question is simply what is the point of bleach after Aizen and the old man release their bankai. These two events obviously symbolize the end of the Bleach world as we know it as we have already seen Ichigo's second release.

^^If only it were that simple. Not only will Aizen first have to go Vizard, but Bleach won't end until Aizen achieves the same Vizard power up Ichigo just gained...on top of going Bankai. Which definitely means Bleach also won't end until Ichigo goes super mazoku jin 4 on top of unlocking the super duper elusive secret zanpakuto released state that goes beyond Bankai ultimately turning him into Jesus. Then and only then will the series end...maybe.

Don't worry I know it won't end there, that's why I throw in the word obviously

Bleach could go on forever really. All they need to do is replace Aizen with another villian and the plot can still commence regardless. Bleach doesn't have a far reaching goal, so right now Aizen is the plot.

Too bad he stabbed Momo ealier on which doesn't evoke an aweness from what he did to Halibel. He hasn't turned the tide of battle either, So maybe something big next week.

^ this. The anime incorporated new villains, there's no reason the manga can't too.

I never said EVER at all in my post I said it is a fact that no good guys die and that is a fact! Has any good guy died? No...Now I see where the bad reading comes from.

except there is no real difference in meaning between "fact, no good guys die in bleach" and "fact, no good guys ever die in bleach"

now if you had used the past tense.. for example: "fact, no good guys have died in bleach."
then you might have a point
but you didn't
so you don't
