I'm looking to work on the second series of Shugo Chara. I had hoped to work on the first series but the group I joined fell apart after 6 episodes. So I am looking for a translator for the series. I'm for quality not for speed. Additionally I need a dedicated timer and typesetter, I can do it when necasery but with Uni and such I am rather busy sometimes. And it will need a karaoke as well but that isn't my immediate worry. I just really need to get a translator :P

If you're a translator with any current/future show in mind that you want to sub(translate?) and can't find a group to help you with the non-translation bits for one reason or another, we'll provide our full support. You're free to pick pretty much any project, now and in the future too (if you bother to stick with us anyway), as we're not particularly picky about shows. Future projects list is just what we have in mind so far; you won't be forced to do them or anything, although we may badger you about them.

More specifically, we're looking for a Japanese to English translator who can finish a script within a few days and is willing to put in a little extra time to produce a more accurate translation. If it's still iffy, contact us and we'll give you the full details on what we offer you in return for what you offer us.

We need a karaoke creator for future (and current if we can get one in like, 2 days of this update) for obvious purposes. Our current karaoke creator has a weird schedule, so we'd like someone to take over the position.

Also, we're willing to do a joint project for the next season if you can bring a translator into it, since that's all we're really missing (we'll provide whatever other jobs you need). Contact us on IRC for this so we can discuss the project you have in mind.

To summarize, we're the so-called remnants of the group Anime Council. (Did Mahou Sensei Negima ((First series)) and did an episode of He is My Master) The group is pretty much re-organized with none of the old members. We just still are using the name, but are now calling ourselves "Anime Council ^2" or "AnCo^2." We're looking to jump back into the fansubbing scene and are looking for anyone with experience fansubbing. Technically, you'd say we are a new group, but hope to release quality fansubs. Requirements: Must have experience fansubbing, and on older anime(typesetters/timers). Editors and QCers must have a native level understanding of English and not be obsessed with using words that are not part of commonly used English. Not to say you cannot use a less common phrasing or word where it fits the context or scene, but don't go editing children to sound like English majors in college. QCers must know how to QC timing/typesetting as well.

Current projects: The following are all joints with Live-evil: Dirty Pair TV(Original Series), Saint Seiya Movies 1-4, Macross DYRL Remastered DVD. The next group or projects are FLF only or possible future projects: Macross Fufonfia, Genius Party(the unreleased parts of DVD 1), Ocean Waves, Hana Yuri Dango(Movie), Dr. Slump TV(Original Series).

FLF is not a speed group. Although we have a lot of projects we focus on one or two at a time with the goal of FINISHING them. We only plan to drop projects that we receive C&D for, are by Media Factory or that obtains English Licensing (if you notice we have a series in violation of any of those points please contact getfresh asap, it will be dropped post haste)

As we approach our 3rd anniversary I am looking for some fresh blood to help towards perhaps putting out a couple of older series and look towards some future series that will be getting less attention from other groups.

So if you would like to join an established group with a proven track record please do get in touch. We do administer a test to those potential team members without a verifiable background in their role but this is nothing beyond the standard found in most other groups.

SHiN-gx Fansubs and Genjo-Subs are in need of Translators, a Typesetter, a Fine Timer, TLC/Pun Checkers for Kannagi, Quality Checkers/Editors and a RAW Provider.

Translators:
Able to translate from Japanese to English or even Chinese to English.
We need a TL who can translate Shoujo Sect ~Innocent Lovers~, a soft-core hentai. The show has been stalled and we want to finish it.
Fluent in Japanese (J>E) and
Can TL at a reasonable speed.

Typesetter:
Has experience with Aegisub.
Has creativity with typesetting.
Can typeset at a reasonable speed.
Remember, we're doing softsubs so you must make your typesets simple yet creative and easy to process on a typical downloader's PC.
AFX experience for possible hardsubbed effects is a plus but not really needed.

Fine Timer:
Has experience at fine timing.
Able to fine time at a reasonable speed.
Able to download and create your own workraw.

TLC/Pun Checkers for Kannagi:
Must be Japanese fluent.
Good at spotting puns, jokes, hidden meanings, etc. and decipher it.
Has profound knowledge on the Kannagi manga.
Able to TLC at a reasonable speed.

Quality Checkers/Editors:
Good at spotting grammar, spelling errors, sentence structure errors.
Good at the English Language and with a good vocabulary.
Must at least know a bit of Japanese.
Able to QC/Edit at a reasonable speed.


RAW Provider:
Skilled at finding HQ RAWs, ISOs, HQ TVrips, HQ DVDrips, etc.

Conditions:
Some of the staff can only be reached through email only while some like the TL can be reached via IRC and MSN. We're a slow fansub group and we prioritize quality over speed.
