hmm.... let's put my opinion in some points :

1. I don't quite understand about the reason why Mary is chosen to be sacrificed. Is it really because she has really killed 300 people to build England?? or it's only because she is needed to be executed by that Excalibur calibur stuff

5. now is the most important point... so far I can understand that England is being pushed to make an alliance with Musashi. So Musashi is considering to make a big alliance between Deadly Sin-less countries and if England joined them, it will make a huge boost to England's reputation. Since Musashi want to start a new era with recreating history, England will get a chance to lead the new world if they can win the war against Tres Espana

now, why England still continue to avoid Musashi's invitation?? even K.P.A Italia is interested about it
I think the important turnover will happen in next episode because of Tres Espana's interference during the meeting

Innocentius is K.P.A Italia chancellor, that was said in S1 a lot.

And you can always tell the difference looking at their uniforms.

Italy was really weak at this time in history, so I guess it's historical. Most of the current Italy was actually owned by Spain and most of the rest were indipendent city states, leaving only a small part as Italy. The only importance really were that the Pope was the head of the Catholic church. But due to the lack of power of the country, so was he often unable to express a free will.

It's a bit interesting to have them mention England at the peace of Westphalia as I don't think they were even part of that. Sweden. France, Holy Roman Empire and Spain were the main parties involved there at least.

at that point in history there is no Italy as a country. There is the Papal States which was Rule by the Catholic Church, the Independent City States (Florence, Venice) and the area rule by Spain.

Well, this is history recreation, not real history, so they probably will use the known peace treaty not only to recreate it but also to discuss future recreations and deal with the impending apocalypse.

Though trough whole episode I was hoping that Toori to would enter the scene and do something badass. Every ep I hope he will do something more than just be a comic relief. I know that all of his retainers have super powers in various departmens and also are super smart. But I really wish that the man himself will shine. In season one he had more situations where he behaved like a true king, hope he will have some moments in this season to. Having him flash his ass can be funny for a certain amount of time.
