We'll have to sit through the movie first and foremost. By the time that is released on Blu-Ray, we're looking at mid-2012 before KyoAni could decide to make a third season.

I too think it's only a matter of time, but they also don't want to hasten it, because otherwise, it won't last long enough to be remembered. So, late 2012/early 2013 is when I would expect a third season.

As for how they'd adapt the manga, I'm pretty sure the manga will be bundled into one once all the chapters for this volume have been released, so it would make sense if they did that with the anime as well.

Of course, first, we'll have to see if we'll ever get a third season.

aahhhh!!! the latest college chappy is so awesome. there'll be competition in the club!! LOL. the battle of the les pauls is gonna be hilarious. XDDD

i saw two new characters. and i think they're cute. =)))

and of course, i hadn't forgotten to put on my yuri goggles. =DDD mio/mugi.. especially mio/ritsu. muhhehehe. btw, mio's so moe this chapter. i think i just died. LOL.

btw, i'd bet we'll be seeing season three spring 2013. XDD

Well with Azusa not with the main four at this point, Mio goes back to being the center of the moe attention.

We will see if Azusa keeps that roll in the high school group, or if that title will pass to the new member (assuming they get to keep her).

I've enjoyed the direction so far and like that there will be multiple competing bands in the new club.

Also interesting is that so far (granted it's only been 2 issues) the manga has been Mio & Ritsu centric, which makes sense because with all the girls living together the most dynamic ones are likely to be pushed to the front.

oh, thanks to all who replied. it's kinda clear to me now. (although the title was quite confusing. like, K-On! Restarted? i thought it was about their HS days again.)

o just hope that K-on will still be "hip" once the new season is finally made into an anime. (because there are so many animes that comes out these days, that surely, something will pick up the concept of moe-filled rockstars/musicians/students, and probably fill in the gap that k-on left as an anime). i'll wait for it, even if it takes, well, 2013. i just hope people aren't that forgetful. every anime fades as time goes by.

Light Music Club....high school or college...doesn't matter...just that it is a Light Music Club.

Means it "might not" continue after they graduate from all schooling...or it will title change to HTT. Because them it is a band manga at that point.
