You're assuming that Sunrise is the one paying for this.

No, that's Aniplex. Sunrise is merely the animation studio.

Which means that if Aniplex doesn't want to pay for fixes, they won't happen.

There will an advanced screening on Friday the 13th, September 2013 accompanied by a talk show event featuring Ryohei Kimura (voice of L-Elf), Asami Seto (voice of Shoko) and Hiroomi Ikeya (one of the producers). It will be at Cinem@rt Shinjuku and admission will cost 2,000 yen.

Asami Seto gained my big respect when she voiced over Chihaya. A very promising seiyuu ©////©. As much as I want to witness this event with my own eyes, am hundred miles away from Japan. You are so beyond my reach ©~~,© Everyone just kindly continue on posting some updates about VVV.

Lieselotte is a very important member of the Dorssian royalty and one of the closest to the throne;
She used to play with A-drei and the other kid from chapter 2 when they were young;
A-drei and Lieselotte aren’t treated as true siblings;
L-elf is aware of the connection between A-drei and Lieselotte;
He learns about her current situation as a captive from A-drei;
Both L-elf and A-drei were caught in a snow storm;
L-elf uses A-drei as a bait in order to survive OR saves A-drei from certain death;
A-drei calls L-elf’s skills a licht of hope;
Probably what made L-elf ignore A-drei was the fact that A-drei wanted to be the one on top. He wants to rule Dorssia together with L-elf but always above him. A-drei only needs to step down to the same level as L-elf for it to happen.
The chapter doesn’t cover episode 7 (it ends with A-drei shooting L-elf and Haruto in the hangar);
Apparently ham & eggs isn’t actually L-elf’s favorite dish.
Dorssia, is simply a mix of Germany ( Do- for Doitsu ) and Russia ( -ssia) The eagle and flag of Dorssia actually hints to Prussia though.
The Dorssian uniforms and Lieselotte’s dress refer clearly to Germany because of the black,red and gold color. Though at Hitler’s time the color for Germany was black,white and red.
Volume 1 of A-drei manga to be released on October 22nd or 23rd;
Next Sylph issue comes with a poster featuring the five Nazis.

The Romanovs used the colors black, gold and white for their dynastic flag, so those colors would be consistent with a German-Russian monarchy.

And in the future, they'll license it oversees, especially in the USA.

Well then, it's a month and a week to go on Season 2!

Shouldn't today or tomorrow be the date for the cover release for vol. 4? I'm anxious to see it...

The cover for vol. 4? Already on the official website. It's Kyuma and Aina.

Oh wow I didn't even think to check there... my bad. But thanks.
I'm still holding onto my dream that vol.6 will be Akira.

if I have to guess

vol 5 -> Thunder
vol 6 -> Akira

but it seems they are playing favorites and only giving a single cover to L-Elf and Haruto

so

5 -> Shoko and Saki again
6 -> group shot of all 5 VVV pilots

Lol they'd never give thunder his own cover. Don't think many would either...

Wink

a bit regrettable but good enough for an original anime (non game/light novel/manga port)
Vol 3 didn't have an event ticket so it's expected
Valvrave BDs are more expensive than others, so the profit is actually higher than it seems

There's also character (read: Dorsian boys) merchandise.

Eh, it's foolish to make such a direct comparison between both shows and jump to conclusions like that, not just because of the staff being mostly different (especially the director) but also due to the broadcasting format (VVV S1 12 episodes vs. CG S1 25 episodes), leaving aside everything else. There's not much in common.

As for the sales...I don't see why people make such a big deal out of this, objectively speaking, but I digress.

Character goods? When are the dakis gona come? Though I know this is a show where they put more effort into the show itself and not selling tons of goods. Guessing the goods will all come later.

That's the good thing with split cour series, it doesn't matter if the are bomba status, we'll still get the second half anyway.

Just watched this show in one go, and to be honest, I am not too impressed with it.

Atleast we know that the Valvrave operators are pretty much immortal or have life span of several hundred of years.

So we know atleast that Saki and Haruto will survive this everything to live long enough to tell some children the story of their foundation.

as of now, I think Saki is the only one who survived
