I think NeoSam might be right, actually - anime-ka might mean anime maker, but only when written as アニメ家 in the same way as judoka (柔道家), mangaka (漫画家), etc.
アニメ化 means "anime form" or "become animated', but that's an odd name to give to a manga title....

Its still not mentioned if the new series is a manga or a short stories light novel (or at least I couldn't find it mentioned anywhere), we'll have to wait until vol. 46 gets out to know.

It looks like the promo video shows "4/10 start" for this, implying it's going to air this spring:

I've read the books, all I can say is that is this another lighter-hearted, laughter-filled series that most otaku would love.
Between this, Ryoko-sama, and second season of Hayate, Gundam 00, and Suzumiya Haruhi. I really look forward towards the second-half of 08, it's going to be filled with bunch of good stuff. Now I need to actually find time in between my work schedule in order to watch all these goodies |

The official website has updated, now with anime art.
http://www.nogizaka-haruka.com/ Not bad. Pretty normal, suitable for a normal series (like it better than the shojo art in the novels though).

The character designs look good--I'm just hoping when there are references to Haruka's otaku-ness they actually refer to real anime and light novels (bleeping things out when necessary like Hayate no Gotoku and Lucky Star did) versus making up something for her to like (like the fictional series Penguin likes in Penguin Musume). Somehow the otaku references are much more entertaining when they're real and they're things I actually get and have seen
Less than a month until it airs, really starting to look forward to the summer season now... |

It depends whether or not they follows the novel.
In the original novels, all manga/anime series mentioned are fictional, my guess is that copyright in japan are more strict in novels than manga, or it could simply be the fact that series mentioned in manga are usually own by same publisher and its different for novels. |
