C'mon, everyone knew that he was going to be in
Interesting stuff that I have heard and of course I can't corroborate : - The disk has "JP", "EU" & "US" folders; meaning that like pretty much every release in the current gen, where everything is in the disk even if you can't select it. - DLC (original Kira & Fatty) doesn't show up (and have been rumored) in the VAs in the staff roll. Other characters that don't show up are : Spoiler:
- Characters that appear voiced in the staff roll (aka, they likely speak in the menus or stuff, though people are hoping for hidden unlocks) : Spoiler:

Kind of interesting that they would put in a character that isn't even from JoJo, though I suppose they are from one of Araki's other works so it doesn't really matter.
Surprised Fatty is so short too, but at least that doesn't leave Iggy as the only character immune to high attacks.

Here's a montage of all the Heat Heart Attacks and Great Heart Attacks for every character that's currently available:
I'm sure we can all agree what they used for these attacks is suitable.~

Since this isn't in arcades it's probably somewhat harder to balance this game, but thankfully we live in a time where console games can be patched, so I'm sure there will be revisions based on fan feedback in he future.

Currently sitting at 2.4/5 on amazon.co.jp review. Main complains are:
1. DLC (have to wait to unlock more story in campaign mode, or pay $$$) 2. Load time issues (~15s for vs mode) 3. Balance issues (low damage supers that makes them pointless, CPU AI too low, infinite combo) 4. Lack of story content Only good thing is the characters+motions+seiyuu

To elaborate more on the issue with the campaign mode:
Campaign mode is online only (lul?) feature, which make you fight against a random boss or other players (called visions). It is totally random, so with some bad luck, you can end with several visions in a row without encountering any boss. Once you encounter a boss, you will be able to face them for 10 minutes, as they actually have an HP gauge that is decreased each time you defeat them in a regular fight. Of course, defeating completely a boss is more rewarding than a vision, because you obtain more loot (medals, which is the in game currency, and a random color swap) The catch is that you need energy to engage fights in the campaign mode (which is represented by a gauge filled with 10 bars). 1 bar is required to engage a fight, but you can use more than 1 bar at once to inflict more damage to a boss after a single fight. Some other special feature can be used: a certain NPC can assist you, requiring 2 bars so you select the boss you want to fight. And this feature is similar to your usual "stamina" in a mobage: a bar is recovered after 20 minutes, hence you need a bit more than 3 hours before your gauge is fully replenished. And this is the major problem of the campaign mode, because it is the only way to unlock stuff thanks to the medals gained there (which are required for extra color swaps, dialogues etc). And since you cannot accelerate the energy regeneration aside of DLC, well you are forced to wait. DLC are as follow: 5 bars => 150 yens 11 bars => 300 yens 30 bars => 650 yens Note that I used "bars" and not gauge, and that's not a mistake: you will have to fork 300 yens to fully replenish your energy bar, 650 if you want 3 gauge worth of them. Needless to say, it is an extremely tedious campaign system, extremely frustrating since it isn't a F2P game to begin with. As for the balancing issues, super aren't the only problem. It seems that there are a very low number of anti air attacks, which means that Jump in attacks are not exactly punishable. Furthermore, combo are also not exactly rewarding in term of damage either. A good deal of people say that the game is all about mashing square...

And you know, the biggest mystery (or not) is how Famitsu was able to give this game a full score. Yeah, we all know how bad Famitsu's scoring can be, but it really makes you wonder how much they were payed to ignore anything bad about this game.

Update incoming
Update will include : - Fuugo for free (dunno if temporary or not). - Stamina up for Campaing mode promo. - Rebalance. Byebye Jojo's bizarre Ininites? Currently, Diavolo & Dio are considered the broken tiers of the game. Joseph is pretty strong overall (specially with online lag) and Shigechi seems like a very strong counterpick to a lot of the cast. Dunno how they value Kakyoin's keep away game, which literally needs you to be able to stop time to evade (just like in the source material ).

Guess this is what happens when people try making a fighting game with no experience. The "hardcore" fighting game community will find EVERY exploit, and if you don't playtest the fuck out of it then the game has zero multiplayer appeal.
