Heatguy J on MTV
Did anyone else see Heatguy J on MTV2 today. It seems that more and more channels are starting to pick up on anime and realize how many people in the US like it.Maybe soon the major companys like Fox and ABC will start showing stuff like naruto, FMA and prince of tennis. We can only hope.

yea but that is the 4kids stuff, if it went on a channels primetime or something it would barely be touch, just nudity and foul langauge but it could work. But I do mean it would take more time for this to reach a primetime slot that is not on toonami.

From my experiance, most people under 30 know that anime is often intended for adults. But that may just be where I live. I think it's just a case of it appeals to some people, others just don't like the big eyed animation style or can't take cartoons seriously no matter who they're made for.
I'd kind of like to see it take off in the mainstream. It's the only way we'll ever get a cool Marvel cartoon with death and adult themes, and a continuous storyline.
