It's probably going to cover more than that. Probably until volume 6 since its part of the Birth of the Breast Dragon Emperor arc.

It has to cover up to vol 6 because each season covers a story arc. The first season covers the first story arc which consists of vol 1-2 and some side stories from vol 8. The second season will most likely only cover the second arc which consists of vol 3-6.

If that's the case the pacing for the second season will be faster in which one volume will be covered in 3 episodes on average, whereas in the first season one volume was covered in 5 episodes.

I don't have a source but i know for sure that the anime producers will only do 12/13 episode for profit purposes.

S2 is likely only 1 cour but it covering only volumes 3 - 4 of the LN is not official. Don't easily assume just because S1 only covered 2 volumes S2 will follow suit. It's quite possible it will go as far as volume 5 or a bit of 6 depending on how they pace it and how much TNK wants to include.

I wouldn't want them to compress Volume 3 to 6 in 1-cour it'll be too rush.

Unlikely. Think about who shows up in vol 5. Here's a hint: black hair, cat ears, giant breasts, evil in her first appearance, calls Koneko "Shirone"? If they were going to have Kuroka appear, they'd be advertising her like crazy.

I think it's gonna end at vol 6 because not only the second arc ends at that volume, the way that volume ends is sort of similar with the way vol 2 or anime first season ended.

We can argue all we want here, but we will need to wait and see for the official one to know. Well if it covers Volume 3-6, of course i'll be happy. But i prefer to follow reality and think of Volume 3&4 only.

I agree with this. They'd be showing her in promo material by now. The only new girls appears to be Xenovia and Irina, which points to them only doing vols 3-4. They may have confidence that a third season will be green-lit.

The earliest we can tell is when the episode that ends vol 3's story airs. We can deduce how much second season will cover from the number of episodes remaining after vol 3's ending episode.

This. They've already advertised Irina, Xenovia, and Gasper (though the latter not that much). That implies to me that they put higher focus on the characters who will appear earlier, and only tease the one who appears in the second half.

Besides, odds are they want to fit in a few side stories like they did in season 1. No way could they do that if they tried to fit in more than 2 volumes.

Not only do they share same name(Albion), but Hakuryuukou also has similar wings as Lancelot Albion from Code Geass R2.

Well, it no doubts looks more awesome than Ise's Balance Breaker in season 1 because of the wings of light.
