One shot, four chapters.

Spoiler:

Plenty of revelations, both plot and character wise. Plenty of Mikoto dere love (damn Touma and his impeccable timing )

Touma seems to have a good idea what his power is already and his cool side is back up again... This showdown with Accelerator is going to be awesome...

finally, i was able to read the manga. Compared to the anime, it tells more about Index's story like; who Stiyl and Kaori is to her, the church, and the archbishop. ALthough, i had a really hard time understanding the scanlations

anyhow, i find the manga version having certain scenarios that has more impact than the anime and vice-versa.

as for the story itself, i'm eager to see chapters 14 onwards.

also, i've read Toaru Railgun which focuses on Mikoto. And I have to say, now i'm more of a Mikoto fan now

Funny you should mention that; I went back and read the manga scenes from the last two episodes because I thought something was odd; And as it turns out, the manga definitely depicted those scene alot better... Touma was a hell lot cooler too.

I know this is the beginning of a downward spiral to compare Anime and Manga, but I couldn't shake that worrying thought now

I certainly hope the Novel scene of the battle with Yohane's Pen was just as epic as the one in the manga

Well, I wouldn't fault JC Staff for it too much. For once, they are following the original source, after all. It's just a shame that the original source is... like that.
I guess the main thing is that in the manga/novel, the reader can go at his own pace, but the anime just drones on with voices. I think the voices is one of the reasons the super explanation times get irritating. Reading the events were much easier.

Epic as the one in the manga... Maa... The same events happen, pretty much, just in words. Not much to say there.
Though the manga is adding a bit of its own stuff, like the Index-Kaori-Stiyl flashback or Archbishop flashback.

Well, no comparison for volume 2, since the manga-ka skipped the whole volume.

I know that... It's just... Hard to overlook it sometimes when there is a better adaptation

For example, this scene would have been much better in episode 5...

Who knows, maybe the manga-ka just switch the timeline and exchange Vol 2 and 3's position

Chapter 14 is out...

I am the clone of my sword.
Many are my bodies, and electricity is my blood.
I have created over a thousand sparks.
Unknown to death.
Nor known to life.
Have withstood pain to perform many missions.
Yet, those hands will never hold anything.
So as I pray, "Unlimited Imouto Works"!

Farewell, #10032. ;_;

Next up, a confrontation between Mikoto and Touma, in Mikoto's territory?

I knew it was a different Imouto, just misremembered that as being her label. It's still sad. ;_; Wasn't correcting you, just focused on the Imouto.

It seemed like to me, the way it's worded, that the same Imouto has been meeting with Touma since the beginning of the arc. At least there'd be a difference in saying "til today"(which I read as 'up until today') as opposed to saying just "today".

Don't forget the other 10000+ that got killed that got killed by that madman...
Maa... Sisters don't really have much emotions at this point, so they don't really think too much about getting killed over and over again... All is a part of their daily life...
