Keep watching Simoun, I'm not far through myself but it's good so far. Definitely watch Strawberry Panic if you want some yuri.
You could aslo try: Kannazuki no Miko (licensed): Yuri, mecha, mahou shoujo. What more could a growing boy need? Maria-sama ga Miteru: Not really yuri, but it's (IMO) an excellent, character driven series, that shows very close relationships between girls at a Catholic school. It's probably not exactly what you're looking for, but it's worth a try... (It's a personal favourite of mine >_>) Hmmm... no more from me. |

Heh, that was a fail then. >_< There are plenty of things with hints of Yuri, but I couldn't think of many series that are specifically focused on it. :/ Have a look at this list of yuri series? I forgot Revolutionary Girl Utena before! I don't know about shows with hints of it, there are so many...

Try some of the Older Stuff.
Brother Dear Brother from which all current Shoujo-Ai shows spring form. Guarantee to put you in a suicidal mood by the end of it. Has one of the best opening music i have ever heard. And Bible Black has some great animation

Yeah it depends how they've got it set up. Try double clicking the thread title itself (the thread link you click to enter the thread) to change it. Probably won't work though as that feature was only introduced in a recent version, and I don't think AS has updated the forum in a while.

Kinda OT, but have you also seen Origins, Only and New Testament of BB? lol
Going back, I second Strawberry Panic. I liked it, only not as much for me to continue watching it because I've a lot of anime to catch up to.

Maria-sama ga Miteru
Devilman Lady Yami to Boushi to Hon no Tabibito ...in addition to those already mentioned. Maria-sama is more extreme friendship than romantic type love... as for the other two, don't expect any happy endings. My favorite shoujo-ai is actually a manga. You can check it out here: Pieta (It's not licensed or anything) (i just copy/pasted this from another thread, thus the re-mention of maria-sama.... lol, im lazy) |
