All of that said though, you're still playing 2nd line support sniper, far enough back that you weren't drawing enemy fire and the fire you did draw was from some pretty awful baddies (AMX M4 leading from the front and climbing a hill!? Crazy!). From my perspective, you basically performed the exact role that the Lowe is supposed to! From your description I thought you were brawling all out or peekabooming..

Regarding the Comet, I mentioned that I absolutely hated it at the start, and at one point had a 33% or so win rate on it, but it eventually grew on me. Before I transfered to the Centurion, I think I had a 53% win rate on it. This, despite the propensity of the MM to put it on the TOP of most battle lists. No pressure yes?
It definitely performs MUCH better with a fully-trained crew though. The guys I used on it were veterans of the Crusader and Cromwell, so they actually had at least two skills/feats on them already before I got it. After that, well, when you see a slope, use it pronto, and never ever brawl, unless you see a damaged and solo heavy out in the open. Regarding the AT-7, ffffff, need better guns. Hey Pen, any advise on positioning in some of the mixed terrain maps?

I think you mean AT-8, since the AT-7 can start out with enough firepower to at least make a difference in Tier VII, unlike the AT-8 that's undergunned stock.
And listen to Pen3. There's a reason the "AT" in the British TD line means "Assault Tank". Camping with an AT series vehicle is wasting its potential. As a rule of thumb, just go where the rest of the heavies go

Hmm, I could get the KV-5... except that for a giant armored brick with an astromech unit, it's a very ugly armored brick.
Getting the Type 62 would be amusing because I would end up using the two guys from the NC-31 in it. I'd also probably end up staging the Tank Man shot with that freakish scarecrow. 100% income bonus on a bunch of popular vehicles... oh dear. |

Whoops, yeah, it's the AT-8, which just keeps the final weapon of the AT-2. Kind of annoyed that it only starts to be useful for its tier with the 17 pounder, which is its last gun, but there you go. As for leading pushes, experience has taught me that it's actually really hard to support a push, as it also requires heavies to actually know what they need to do... which is 50-50 in tier 6.
