I tried to use the same coloring style as the anime since I thought it would look better that way. Glad you think so too. ^^

Ahh, why does this keep happening!? *revives*

Finally an update! Yay~
I drew a fanart of the Vocaloid song/PV 1, 2 Fanclub by Kagamine Rin and Gumi.

Here's the song in case anyone's interested. It's been stuck in my head lately~♪

Very nicely done. You were really good back when you first started this thread, but now your work looks professional!

Niiiice. I thought it was offical artwork or something, can barely see quality drops. If there even are any. Keep up the good work.

Thank you for sticking around for so long Ledgem! It's always reassuring to hear from others that my art is improving.

Oh wow, really? Thanks! ^^

Happy New Year everyone! <3

Since this is the year of the snake I drew chibi Amaterasu with Nuregami (the snake brush-god) from Okami. ^^

I agree, and your recent tribute to the Year of the Water Snake is just perfect The colors mesh so well with chibi Ammy!

You guys are so sweet! Thank you! >////<

Chibi art update~
Around the middle of January I started doing art-trades with some random people over on deviantART for practice. They all ended up wanting me to draw their original characters (with the exception of Gumi in the third picture)

Ugh, I keep taking really long breaks from drawing so I'm getting really rusty. /hides in a corner

You may feel rusty, but it seems like the sophistication level of your artwork only continues to improve. Very impressive.

"Rusty".

This is where I wished I had the ability to give constructive critic on original character artwork, which I don't really when the quality is already high, so I'll repeat what I usually say: Keep up the good work. If I ever need a commission for an übercute character I know who to go to.

Thanks! I try my hardest to keep drawing so I can keep improving. But I always feel like time (and procrastination, frustration, etc.) causes my drawing skills to slip, so in the end I feel like I lost the momentum I thought I had.

Working on others' original characters was a nice experience, since I'm used to drawing fan art of anime and games, and it showed me how much imagination people have. Since OCs aren't something I'm used to, especially with lack of references, I felt like those weren't up to par with my more recent drawings but I'm glad to know you still enjoyed them!
And if you ever do want to request something from me...I promise to try my best not to disappoint. D:

New drawing! I drew Miku again~

I'm so glad I can still draw decent non-chibi characters.

That is beautiful colouring. Damn. How many layers do you use for that? Just a flat and one or two shades, or more? I swear, I just can't get anything to work ever.

Haku, can you do Inori from Guilty Crown? A mature one and a chibi one. Let me know if you can or cannot.

Thank you.

Thank you very much for the compliment! I always struggle with the coloring/shading so I really appreciate it. ^^

Yup, each color pretty much has it's own layer with two shade layers. The only exception to that was the eyes which I was experimenting with. I also messed with gradient maps, filters and blending modes to bring out the colors more.

I always feel like I can't get a drawing to work so I know exactly how you feel!

I think I can do that. Um, is there any specific way you want me to draw her (pose, clothes, etc.)?
