You don't always see a manga like this that progresses the plot so fast. Usually they'd pad it with a hundred chapters or more of filler material, since this is a weekly release. I hope the author isn't writing himself into a corner.

The reason it's going this direction is because the writer wrote himself into a corner. With that said, the manga at least felt natural during its short run (I very much doubt it'll go much longer).

Memory wipe hate aside, Flawnalyst is correct. The reason we're here is because he wrote himself into a corner.

Now he can either be lame and drag out a "win her back" arc. Be lame and make a new mirror gimmick to stay within story parameters. Or be slightly less lame by pulling a Dues Ex Love Potion, have Satomi remember everything, and end the manga.

Either way he's at the bottom of the polls, and they've yet to reach the memory wipe chapters.

Well, the absolute outcome cannot be avoided. Personally I never liked the memory wipe thing even way back when I watched TaMnI for the first time, and I like it even less here. That being said I hope he can at least end this on a slightly positive note for Harisugawa, I used to wonder weather he was lucky or not--now I'm sure it's the latter.

Since the plot is progressing at such a rate, I do hope the author has several tricks thought out in advance. In the first place, upon hearing the initial concept (mirror gimmick ) of the manga I was certain that it couldn't last long based on that idea alone.

It's possible that this is just one of several arcs planned in advance, and that we'll see new things later on. Otherwise, this manga is quite doomed.

Chapter 29 will be the final chapter. Looked over 28 and it isn't too bad with only one to go...

i believe nisekoi is the other title that's gonna get axed, how's st&rs doing?

ST&RS is doing poorly. Been in the bottom five since chapter 12, usually last place/near last place. It's volume sales have been low. It's basically a surprise it hasn't been axed already. Nisekoi on the other hand is still placing high in the TOC, and hasn't been out long enough to have any volumes released. Fairly low odds of being axed.

And there it is. As I said a couple weeks ago when things started leaning this way...Good game everyone, it was fun. I truly did enjoy the art, and by art I mean Saki. Let's enjoy the ending, ne? Which I assume is going to be the least lame of the options I presented in an earlier post. Unless he goes for broke and does the unbearably lame open-ended harem ending.
