Well, if (I said IF) the Russian Government was the Soviet one, the Orthodoxs were pretty weak on influence.

As well, all events after 1947 (Aleister's supposed death) are imprecise. Stephanie fought a civil war in Costa Rica, but the last one in the original timeline was in 1948. If Index is set on the 21st century, Stephanie would be in the 80s.

From what I can tell, overt historical divergence happened when Aleister did not die and lived on to set up Academy City.

Covert historical divergence happened much earlier, when magic was discovered, possibly predating the birth of Christ.

Magic medals:

Dedicatus medal: head: can analyze magic

Fortis medal: body: can conjure flame fists that mimic rider's movement and deal explosive punches.

Honos medal: body: gives access to the Aevolver Magnum. A gun whose bullets can be manipulated according to the user's willpower.

Salvare medal: body: legs: body gives access to two katanas that can be combiend into a naginata. On legs it serves to provide perfect balance and great running and jumping ability.

science medals:
Accelerator medal: head: gives great calculative ability and control over force on physical contact.

Meltdowner medal: body: gives access to meltdowner beam cannon.

Railgun medal: body: leg: allows control of electricity.

Maybe divide the ideal into 3 parts: Id, Ego, Superego?

@meister: are your MotW's going to be unique to your rider? Or is he just battling delinquents, criminals and rogue espers/mages?

How could it be convert when magic is so showy and powerful? I kinda feel lke there's some magical organization (like the illuminati) that covers use of magic on a wide scale using specialized spells or something.

We don't really know how magicians were back in the day- Remember that not everyone that claims to be a magician, actually was one. Most of them were just con artists and fortune tellers.

And I thought Illuminati was all about Science and total against religion

It will follow the format of Railgun, where its a day by day account of his life. There is a case to solve or an errand to run or exploration to do on most days.

There will be occasionally be a "MOTW" in that he battles "wayward experiments" as they appear. Most of the MOTWs will be Kiborgs, espers and normal people turned into cyborgs by affiliates of Kihara, or by Kihara himself. They would target artefacts or people of interest, which is why Tarou follows such potential targets with interest.

Also, before Tarou finds Steel Dragon, his battle theme is Heavy Metal Strikes Back

Normally people wouldn't bat an eye at kid show but.....

I think Kids show in Academy tend to biases towards science side (Hell, I think the magical Girl show in the Canon are most likely going to be powered by power of science than magic).

Don't forget, Magic Side is Science side's enemy, so it is reasonable to believe that the Academy City start "teaching" children that science= good while magic = evil at a very young age (albeit subtle)

With this in mind, those show probably tend to be Science Versus Magic conflict. With the Heroes being powered by science while the monsters and villains powered by Magic.

If there is a Super Sentai Series, it is probably something along the line of Scientific Sentai.

The Kamen rider is also most likely to be technology based (555, Fourze) rather than magic (Kuuga, Wizard).

In fairness the OOO's based rider I'm thinking of is purely scientific. Well generally. People can draw energy from the medals but it requires great skill or power to do so. Also the capacity to synchronize with those ideals.

The driver would allow the person to use the medals only on requirement that they can accept the ideal.

There are two types of medals: IDEA and NOISE

NOISE medals are medals which reflect multiple ideas which jumble and become lost in translation, be it from the doubts of a single person or from the mass of ideals coming into contact with each other.

The baddies which would be the expies of the GREEED are AIM beings out of Aleister's control. Or FALLEN ANGELS as they are labeled. Similar to Kazakiri Hyouka only they have come into contact with IDEA medals which have given them physical form and therefore beyond Aleister's desired parameters.

Aba(Abare) - is an FA that specializes in causing IDEALS to go berserk. They give them incredible power but they become obssessed with their wish. The warped person will do anything to achieve their ideal even until their death. The person is inserted with a NOISE medal and the medals build up as the IDEAL is slowly achieved. The way to save these people is by purging them of all NOISE medals. the medal gain and collection process is fairly average. Regular withdrawal is required to prolong the host's life.

Mou - is an FA that specializes in synchronizing IDEALS. it warps those with weaker IDEALS to align with the originally warped IDEAL. but in terms of ESPers they merely interconnect a single personal reality by acting as antennas and become stronger because of this shared capability. It normally takes time for this type of IDEAL warping to reach maturation. Medals build up over time within the network and eventually taken from antennas. Unlike Abare's method, antennas can be completely emptied out but it will not release them from the network. The one purged must be the center. This method has the longest running production method as well as fairly cost efficient in rewards.

Shin(Bunshin) - is an FA that creates a body double that embody's the original warped IDEAL's owner. The copy exists solely to make the ideal true. As the copy continues to exist, it drains the original's IDEAL and reason to live. This method has the quickest gains amongst the FA but cannot be used continuously as the original has a much shorter life span than the others.

Wasu(awasu) - is a strange FA who can warp an IDEAL and cause it to appear in reality. In this reality, the person with the warped IDEAL will reach the peak of their power. The amount of medals produced this way is insurmountable but it is the least discrete of all the methods. Someone afflicted with this warp eventually dies from their own power eating them and leaves behind mountains of medals. This person must also be purged of all medals.

An ideal is a necessity for living. These FA's are seeking out reasons to exist, that is why they seek out and create the medals. They want to create IDEA medals but will settle for NOISE medals too as a supplement to their power. Other than Mou's method, all victims eventually die from the influence as their ideals are being overworked.

They technically are popping up all the time, but whether Tarou clashes with them or not is another matter. The Monster of the Arc tends to cause several Cases of the Week before Tarou finds out the truth and squashes them.

Like how Railgun S1 ran.

As for the song, its another Kamen Rider Girl song. I got the idea from Tarou's finishers. For example:

"Pilebunker - OVERLOAD!"/"HEAVY METAL STRIKE!!"

Tarou fights using Apps for unfamiliar attacks or Forges (items made using his Metal Control power). These Apps were pre-calculated by Tarou then downloaded into the Testament console he was born from. Steel then loads this App on demand, greatly increasing Tarou's combat efficiency.

Hence why Steel would call out things like "Double Magnum - App Load!" or "Chainsword - App Load!"

Finishers are called Overloads by preference. These are big and take longer to materialize, so Tainaka only uses them when he has a chance. "Pilebunker - OVERLOAD!!" is the Pilebunker App being loaded.

"HEAVY METAL STRIKE!!" is Tainaka's doing, calling out the attack as it hits. He doesn't at this point in time have a real flying "Rider Kick" because that's just breaking the rules of having only 1 power.

EDIT: I just realized this:

Tarou on his own = RIDER PUNCH (Pilebunker)
Tarou + Uiharu = FAIZ BLASTER (Railcannon)
Tarou + Kongou = Wind Please Very Nice KICK STRIKE SAIKYOOOOO (Aero Hand on Tarou)
