I tried checking Bandai Entertainment's official website, but there is VERY little information there. The site looks pathetic too. Looks like something I would of designed back in high school.

Not to mention they were very late in mentioning on the release of the DVD's but to previous inquires; both the Nunnally and Suzaku manga's have been licensed in the U.S. you can find the volumes at Amazon.com for sale.

hey,

i feel as though the mangas, including the original-based, then the suzaku and nunnally ones, are side stories?? but only light novels might be a continuation or offer another perspective from the end of R2? since... if the second light novel that has come out so far is based on R2, then if there is another publication, might that have information that caters to what happens in the "future" after what we know happened in R2?

The writers could create a light novel that would allow them to retell R2 the way it was meant to be before they were forced to scrap their original plans for it.

Not true. What was revealed was ideas that was brain stormed. We haven't seen everything that was originally planned out for Code Geass R2. The only way to know what the original plans were for R2 is for the staff to create a novel/manga about it. Or Mai Hime type reset that would show what there were. If the Director was not happy about the way R2 turned out, a light novel of his planned version of Code Geass R2 is the best way to put those speculations to rest.

The "Planned" stuff that was given were just early stage concepts. They may or may not have been used at all. The actual stuff that the writers might have planned for production would not have been leaked to the public.

I just am hoping for a Manga where Euphemia doesn't die and Lelouch doesn't die and there's some form of happy ending.

R2 made me want to punch the wall a lot.

There is a chance for Euphie to survive in Nightmare of Nunnally. This is still running so I wouldn't know. If you want Lelouch to live, Suzaku of the Counterattack is the manga which ended with him surviving and it's a happy ending. Euphie didn't appear in that same manga.

She's one of my favorite anime characters.

But I'll definitely have to check that out.

Is SotC worth buying? The ending sounds somewhat epic Also, who doesn't want to see Lelouch's happy ending?

She appeared in LotR and NoN manga. She got the same end in LotR. NoN is still running. She has chances of surviving since the manga is moving in a different route.

I don't think he will get the same ending in LotR which follows the anime plot. Just that they do not have Knightmare frames in the series but the plot seems to be moving to the same objective despite the difference in the process. The chance of Lelouch getting a happy ending in NoN is higher as there is already a "demon king" in the series who is a lot more badass than him. SotC is worth buying if you are a Suzaku X Lelouch shipper. Just the beautiful artwork and the happy ending for them itself is worth buying.

Happy ending and beautiful art and the need to buy ALL Code Geass stuff being released in english will probably get me to buy it even though I fear yaoi/shounen-ai

I read that LotR started to change where the second season should have started.

I already bought them in Japanese although I don't understand. except LotR. LotR has changes to the storyline but it will eventually lead to the same ending which is why I have lack of interest to this series and gone into the other mangas related to Code Geass instead. LotR is just taking a different route to the same destination.
