Imo an actual trap Gundam pilot is one of the greatest ideas Gundam ever had.

Loran was one of the main reasons Turn A Gundam is great.

Being as feminine as he is, he was more of a man than most Gundam male characters.

His exotic trap design is one of the most unique in Gundam series, white hair and dark skin makes him really beautiful.

I remember playing Alpha Gaiden and didn't watched Turn A yet I also can't read Japanese. So when I first came upon Turn A it was Loran disguised as a girl. Thought she was quiet pretty and kept wondering where she disappeared through out the game, and later realize that it was Loran all along

. But yeah he was damn pretty.

Yeah... unlike the rest of you, I don't care for trap characters. At least I can understand the reason why Loran's such a trap. Honestly, I would have preferred it if Tomino had been allowed his way with Turn A so Loran could've been female.

Alpha Gaiden convinced me to watch Turn A lol, I was amazed by the fact that Loran was actually a guy and Turn A is much cooler than it looks. Banpresto just knows how to bring the best out of the series and knows what fans are looking for.

In SRWZ we had all of Loran's appearances lol:

Loran could have been a great female character, but he will lose the greatness he was as a trap. Being called Laura by Gwen would be completely gone, without this Turn A will not be Turn A anymore.

Maybe we would gain a yuri coupling between female Loran and Diana-sama from losing a trap though.

Easy way to have made Tomino and Sunrise happy: Give Loran a sex op in the middle of the show. Result: Sunrise get's it's guy, Tomino gets female character. And Laura gets the best mid season upgrade ever.
